Happy New Year, Avonmora!

I wish ye all the best, ye blighters of Avonmora - a good year be past, and the New Year looms upon the horizon.

Be prepared, mates, it be with regret I predict a dark future for Avonmora. While we can face the cannon fire of an adversary, the scorn of a jilted lover and even face the Leviathan and tread into Davy Jones Locker, the future be bleak....

The rum be nigh gone!

SHM is correct. All 3 Rum Ports are at 0 stock.

Happy New Year. Good think I stocked up ahead of time.

Yup. Same here. But im hoping the rum port owners start raising acres in them to try to help remedy this. Can't expect anyone, be they pirate or merchant, noble or peasant to work without a mug of rum from time to time.

I think it is more likely that a number of plantation owners are stock piling for themselves for use with Party Cards and not suppling the port.

Increasing the number of acres probably won't correct the low stock.

Regardless more acres means more rum production, which means more chances that at least some of it will make it to port. If nothing else, it's not like more acres can make things worse. It's literally all uphill from 0 after all.

Although I think that perhaps some sort of change to party cards or plantations might be needed if too many folks hog the goods. Perhaps X% of party resources used wind back up in ports-this way at least some of it fills the market and folks still get parties. Or perhaps a rule that X% of production must be sold to port, the rest being up to the owner to decide what to do with.

Yes more acres would mean more available to produce.

From my understanding, eventually party cards will be phased out. Unless CJ has changed his stance on that. I think what may need to occur is plantation size limits per port.

That's a good question. Hard Partiers?
