Here's the new RP. Going to be another new rules for this one. This one is a 4 on the realism scale so most things go.

Rules are as follows.

1. Try to keep things in character. Don't post something unrelated to the RP here. If you don't like this RP, don't complain about it here. Post a new thread or start your own RP thread if you don't like this one. I would actually be quite happy if someone posts a RP of their own so please feel free to do so.
2. You can control your characters actions-You can not control others. NPC's are fair game and anyone can control them, so long as its believable and in character. A guard for example shouldn't just up and decide to shoot an orphan for no reason-that is out of character. Anyone without a name will be considered a NPC, if you name a character but want it to be a NPC then just mention that said character is NPC in quotation marks after a post.
3. You are allowed to have multiple characters- but be reasonable. Don't flood the story with a bunch of your characters. 2 or 3 in one story is fine, anything past that is sort of pushing it unless you are really good at managing them.
4. Use Italics for actions, and try to separate things nice and neat. Also use paragraphs when needed. Quotations if for speaking out of the roleplay.
5. No editing of a post once you post it. The exception is to fix spelling mistakes or minor errors. It can be real annoying when someone posts one thing and another responds to it only to find what they responded too is now completely different.
6-Do not act on knowledge you know but your character doesn't- If for example Character A is being attacked in the tavern, and your character is in the church, you can't have your character suddenly rush to the tavern to help unless you can give a reason WHY he knows what is happening or he is rushing to the tavern.
7-if you have an objection to something, message the person directly first to resolve it.
8-To slow things down a bit, 2 players can not advance the story too fast and must wait roughly a day before continuing if no third party posts. I realize that me and Jack honestly move a bit too bloody fast, and it makes others unable to keep up. So I will try to change that.
9-The most important rule-Have fun.
10-the new rule is please do not decide things for other's characters without consulting them first. This has happened twice to me, and while I was willing to roll with it, it did make me a tad annoyed.

Things you shouldn't decide for a couple examples are things like one of your characters is related to one of theirs, or one of yours had a serious relationship with one of theirs.

Next post begins the story.

In the port of Chalkos things have been quite strange lately. There is a strange feeling in the air- one that causes great unease to those in the area, strange things have been spotted, from bizarre creatures to haunting phantasms. Several groups seem to be making moves in and around the port-not all of them benevolent. In the local tavern 3 young looking men sit around a table chatting. A giant man around 8 feet tall named Eloth, a small man around 5 feet named Carl, and a normal looking man named Brian. All 3 are keeping an eye out to the other patrons, as they patiently await the arrival of some friends, as they drink and chat.

Charles walks in, along with two men, one with black and white robes and a tonsure, the other a somewhat short naval officer

A slightly older man, with scars on his face telling countless stories, walks in. Dressed in finery of a musketeer captain from an unknown nation, he goes up to the bar and orders a drink from the grizzled man behind the counter, he takes the drink and moves to a table lavished in shadow. He mutters to himsel in a heavy accent,

Bloody lich

He takes a large swig of the clear liquor inside his tankard, smacks his lips, and leans back, resting his leather clad feet upon the table

Eloth looks to him and calls out.

Yeah. Most lich's s**k. Always raising the dead and causing trouble. You just get back from fighting one, or on your way to a fight? Definately some magic in the air here. And it sure as hell ain't a good kind.

Charles and the other two men turn their heads at the word lich. Charles and his companions walk over

the man takes a mighty gulp

A lich killed my king, my wife, and my squad.

Don't know when I'll be next.

Eloth just looks to the man

Well, kill it before it kills you then. Lich's might be powerful but they ain't invincible. Which king got killed anyway? Worlds a big place, lots of kings out there.

On that note, what lich did the killing? You know his or her name? Pretty sure there's a lich in this area, that will need killing pretty soon. Along with a few other less then pleasant creatures. Pretty sure Agrat is also here, and i ain't looking forward to fighting her.
