Time for a new RP. Rules are as follows. This one is a 4-so very unrealistic


1. Try to keep things in character. Don't post something unrelated to the RP here. If you don't like this RP, don't complain about it here. Post a new thread or start your own RP thread if you don't like this one. I would actually be quite happy if someone posts a RP of their own so please feel free to do so.
2. You can control your characters actions-You can not control others. NPC's are fair game and anyone can control them, so long as its believable and in character. A guard for example shouldn't just up and decide to shoot an orphan for no reason-that is out of character. Anyone without a name will be considered a NPC, if you name a character but want it to be a NPC then just mention that said character is NPC in quotation marks after a post.
3. You are allowed to have multiple characters- but be reasonable. Don't flood the story with a bunch of your characters. 2 or 3 in one story is fine, anything past that is sort of pushing it unless you are really good at managing them.
4. Use Italics for actions, and try to separate things nice and neat. Also use paragraphs when needed. Quotations if for speaking out of the roleplay.
5. No editing of a post once you post it. The exception is to fix spelling mistakes or minor errors. It can be real annoying when someone posts one thing and another responds to it only to find what they responded too is now completely different.
6-Do not act on knowledge you know but your character doesn't- If for example Character A is being attacked in the tavern, and your character is in the church, you can't have your character suddenly rush to the tavern to help unless you can give a reason WHY he knows what is happening or he is rushing to the tavern.
7. The most important rule- Have fun.

The Mage's guild latest project is currently underway-they have cloned Jack, and are now having the fake take a large portion of Jack's forces, while they pocket the majority of his wealth. Where the clone is now is unknown, but Brian and Carl are sailing back to Valorim now, alongside the real Jack. The day is bright and sunny, as they relax sailing home, having finished one of the hardest quests of their lives.

For future reference I will be calling the fake Jack Jake and advise everyone else to do so as well to save a bit of time and so no one will have to constantly clarify which one they are referring to.

[Jack Teach]

Jack's ships sail into the harbor, his wife stands at the docks looking confused. Jack looks around, a quizzical look on his face.

[Meliva]

A robed mage comes up and hands Jack a letter before teleporting away. The letter reads as follows.

Dear Jack,

That clone we made of you decided to borrow half your ships and men. Don't know what he intends to do, probably a lot of raiding and plundering.

Also, here is the bill for services provided. It was quite costly so we ended up having to take about 80% of all your gold and valuables. But you will make it back soon enough probably. Regardless have a good day.

Along with the letter a piece of paper detailing services and costs is in the package. The numbers are very high.

[Jack Teach]

Jack's eyes go wild, his face turns red with rage. He stands there quivering, unable to speak. He gives his wife the letter, she scans it and curses, her pretty face aghast.

[Meliva]

Brian and Carl see Jack red with anger and just look confused. Carl steps up.

What's wrong Jack? Your face is redder then a tomato.

Also, on a side note, didn't you have a lot more men and ships here then this? Or did I imagine all of them?

[Jack Teach]

Jack turns to him and gives him a withering stare. he shakes with rage, his voice low and venomous:

What do YOU think? Do you think you just...IMAGINED several hundred more men than there is? Read the f**king letter.

Jack hands him the letter, his wife whispers something in his ear.

[Meliva]

Carl is unfazed and just responds

Mate, you seem to forget that I'm a lunatic. I imagine crap all the time. Hell I used to think there was a magic walrus living on this island with us, til I realized I was just talking to a boulder. Also mate, I can't read. Pretty sure I told you that before, so I can't tell what this letter says.

He hands the letter to Brian, who reads it out loud for him. Carl nods.

Oh. that explains his rage.

Jack underestimates Carl's craziness. He probably would think he imagined all those men honestly

[Jack Teach]

Jack looks to his wife, then to brian.

I have to blow off some steam, be back in twenty minutes, knock on my door if you need anything.

Jack and his wife go into the house, Jack ranting all the way there. The priest steps forward.

What seems to be amiss?

[Meliva]

Brian just hands him the letter. Carl turns to a nearby tree and begins talking.

I know right? He looked like he was about to have a stroke.

Brian just looks at him and shakes his head, trying to hold back laughter. Carl laughs.

That's a good one mate. Gonna have to remember that for later. Even Brian liked that joke, and he can be a real stick in the mud. Hey, have you all met Mr. Woodson here, guy is hilarious.

Carl continues having a conversation with a tree.
