I smell a conspiracy

The name was chosen from an Irish word meaning "From the great river" as it says in the original topic

Considering the Irish have travelled far and wide from Europe to the northern Americas, I'd say there would be a lot that could be named close to Avonmora. The Irish were quite bright people if I must say and still are just more bar fights than usual
