I love Haron's idea of War and Blockades. This idea has morphed a bit into ADMIN's version of Blockades but credit is still due to Haron for coming up with this idea. He even lead MERC in a very fun "Blockade" of Regis (I believe).

I would however like to put a plug in for the Fantasy Draft. This very fun Forum Game has really taken off and I believe it is well received by most. It is a fun time that the community comes together to talk about players, their achievements and how best to assemble them into a Fantasy Team. There have been 3 Drafts to date and each has been different from the last. Admin has recognized it as a great game feature that Increases player activity and participation. He even created awards for such a game. I still want to thank all the captains of past and also those who contribute to the amazing prize pool. I believe this Forum Game deserves your vote for "The Good of the Game".

From my perspective, this should only encompass actual living breathing things. Once these other things are implemented that would garner my vote but that could by months and even years away. With that being said, I voted for the fantasy draft. This has been something I have been lucky enough to be picked for twice in my short time in the game and always garners a lot of interest. I love to see how other players prioritize the value of their selections and I am eagerly awaiting the next draft!

I voted based on what has been implemented as well, and my vote went to Shadowood/Fantasy Draft. I think that it is by far the best out of these options.

I voted based on who made significant efforts to better the game, regardless of whether they were implemented.


Now just my two cents:

Using implementation as a reason is unfair to the others, as the others nominated rely entirely on the admins to implement the feature. The only portion of the Draft that required admin implementation is the Game Achievements, and even then, the Draft could have continued and succeeded without Admins ever doing anything.

Fantasy Draft, of course! ^_^

My vote is for more ships on the water.
