Role-Play- The Reconstruction of Regis

This is going to be A new Role-play that will be a side story of the Role-play Blockade of Regis. Essentially this is going to cover the time from shortly after the day of the battle-to When Regis is fully restored. It will be mostly independent from the blockade story. I plan to try to add a couple new ideas into this role-play. The first of which being something I will call Entry Events.

Now essentially what an Entry Event(abbreviated EE here on out) will be is a rather large event that happens in a role-play, that will help serve as an easy way to enter a new character into the story. Since it isn't exactly convincing to just say a character happened to be somewhere, and can be rather tough to come up with a good excuse for a character appearing, EE's will essentially exist to help that problem. From here on out i will try to add at least one EE at the start of all my RP's and at least one later on.

To start with, the EE for this opening RP, is after the battle Ellen has gathered the locals and decides to rebuild Regis. Anyone wishing to utilize this EE can decide to enter as a local commoner, a nobleman who was left behind, a newly orphaned child, a guard who survived the slaughter, or one of the raiders. If you can think of another character that makes sense feel free to come up with your own backstory.

Now the Rules for this RP are as follows.
1. Try to make things believable and keep to the theme. No aliens, no cowboys, etc.
2. Try to keep things in character. Dont post something unrelated to the RP here.
3. You can control your characters actions-You can not control others. NPC's are fair game, so long as its believable and in character. A guard for example shouldnt just up and decide to shoot an orphan for no reason.
4. You are allowed to have multiple characters- but be reasonable. I myself currently have 2. Ellen, the main, and Brian a lesser character. I may add more in the future, but i do not think i will ever go beyond 5.
5. The most important rule- Have fun.

Having said that the next post begins this RP.

The morning after the bloody battle Ellen looks out her window sill and sighs at the destruction. Many buildings raided and burnt down, the roads filled with corpses, the fort smashed up. The remaining guards all hiding in fear. Everyone is disorganized, and afraid. Jack has brought about a little order after ending the looting. But this city wont recover without proper leadership- And while Jack may be a good fighter and sea captain, he did not seem to be the type to know how to run a city. The local nobles are too terrified to speak up-afraid of what the pirates or commoners would do-not to mention no one would listen anyway. They are easily the most hated group here-aside from the pirates. Ellen walks to her closet and dresses in her Captains uniform. A brown Leather vest, knee high boots, a pair of gloves, and a skirt going down to her knees with pants beneath it. She finally puts on her red bandana. She leaves Panselo and stands in the town square, several people look at her confused, while others just muck around unsure of what to do or why she is here. Ellen takes out her pistol and fires a shot into the air. She then shouts in a loud commanding voice.
"OKAY!, LISTEN UP, AND LISTEN CLOSELY. AS SOME OF YOU MAY ALREADY KNOW, I AM SISTER ELLEN. THE LOCAL NUN AND MISTRESS OF PANSELO ORPHANAGE. NOW DESPITE THE DAMAGE DONE BY THE PIRATES, I WOULD RATHER NOT LIVE IN A RUIN OF A PORT. SO I WANT EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU TO GO, GRAB EVERYONE YOU KNOW, COME BACK HERE IN ONE HOUR, AND BE PREPARED FOR SEVERAL LONG DAYS OF HARD WORK. UNDERSTAND? GOOD NOW GET GOING.
All the locals scurry off to do as she said. Ellen sighs. This is going to be a pain.

Jack storms out of the local Catholic Church, goes to the broken down government building where he runs the city. Jack selcts certain men to rebuild certain things. In a few days even more pirates and other people come (pirates captains and pirate lords) to help restore order and build up the port. Soon the place is filled with armed pirates ready to defend the port in a moments notice.

The local guards grow more and more nervous as more pirates arrive. They spend almost all their time in Panselo helping Ellen watch the orphans rather then patrol the streets out of fear. The leader, a man named Scott is sitting with Ellen. He looks to her and nervously says. What are we going to do- more and more bloody pirates come by the day. There are only a dozen of us, 2 dozen if we count your crew, and only 30 if you count the older children. The pirates could come in and kill us all any second. Ellen shakes her head. Jack is a rash, arrogant man, who really does not think things through some times. But, he wouldn't slaughter us for no reason. He is a fairly devout catholic, and killing a nun and a bunch of orphans would be one of the last things he would consider. Just stay inside Panselo. No pirate-whether they be a lowly cabin boy, or Jack himself is allowed in here without an invitation from me-or knocking on the door and asking to come in. Regardless all the pirates are FINALLY rebuilding what they burned down. So I finally got a good nights sleep. She rubs her head a bit. Ugh, I still can't believe I fell for that bloody Swedish king trick. Several days sleep deprivation and stress can really muck up a normally clever mind I suppose. Doesn't help half the new orphans keep trying to grab weapons to go and kill the pirates who killed their families. I am just glad you guards are here to help watch them. The governor's son is REALLY determined to kill Jack. He managed to pick the weapons lock for the 4th time this week. I need him supervised at all times. She looks outside. I hope William can visit soon. I rather like the man. Much more agreeable then Jack.

Of course you can. As I said in the top post-There are plenty of options to introduce a character. You can be a local citizen, one of the orphans or guards in Panselo orphanage, one of the pirates who just arrived, etc. Just think what kind of character you would like to play, come up with a name, and join in.

Jack is still managing to keep order. Then a thought crosses his mind "what do do with the rest of the guards?" He orders one of his senior officers to deliver his order to his men. His order being: "All guards in this city are to be left alone, if any man be found harming a guard, a minister, or any innocents including women and children shall either suffer flogging or death depending on exactly what he is doing. All citizens have the right to protect themselves so if any guard attacks any pirate, said pirate can defend himself. All criminals will receive a fair trial." Jack walks to the orphanage and knocks on the door, wanting to apologize to Ellen.

Runs up to jack.

While at the same time knocking him on the ground and punching him in the face.
