and continue after they leave. Feel free to use this pub to role play any time you would like long after the British Royal Naval warship role play characters have left.
The setting
Formerly the Black Swan Tavern, one of the finest and most upscale locations in Central Avonmora. It was ornately detailed with fine plaster work and oak floors, mahogany panel walls. polished brass hardware, gold leaf trim and crystal candelabras. After years of abusive customers it is dirty, much of the fine craftsmanship has been destroyed, stolen or is so covered in blood and dirt it can no longer be seen. It is now under new ownership, and is a haven of some of Avonmora's fiercest sailors A Fancy gilded wooden sign "The Black Swan" still lies in the alley, a sailor is passed out against it. A new sign leans against the front of the building. it is made out of a worn out ships hatch door. "The Hair of the Dog Pub" has been coarsely painted on it in red hull paint with a 3" paintbrush. The windows are broken out and covered with old deck planks. You must lift the door slightly to enter as the hinges are bent and it drags the ground. Inside you are met with an eclectic mix of old new furniture, all damaged, all in varying states of being patched back up. A man with few Teeth covered entirely in tattoos stands behind the bar. His presence is overbearing and his muscles are huge, even compared to his toughest customers, however he is friendly and jokes frequently. It is probably best not to cross him though. Wooden barrels of Ale and Barley wine adorn the Counter behind the bar. There are two shelves with bottled spirits. One is encased with wire mesh doors the other is just an open shelf....Next post begins the role-play!
