is the warehouse in the hide out seprate from the port you built the Hideout in or does it use the port Wh.

It uses the port warehouse : there is no storage in the Hide-out itself. Certain buildings have special storage abilities : the Marina stores your ships in safety, the bank stores your coin, the Goldsmith can store Gold bars it has made in safety. But for materials needed to build the Hide-out or use as wages for the Goldsmith workers, then the port warehouse is required to be large enough to hold them.
