if you have a large amount then it pops up on the demo graphics

Whats that? I sold me merchant ships someone seen the gold i had and booty mastered me... I was wondering how they seen i had a lot of gold on me, i was unaware it showed on demographics. Bmw enlightened me.

when you have more than 50m gold at hand your name will seen in demographics page. right next to Total Treasure at Hand: 1.79B this tab. i also learnr it with hard way:)

Well there are only a handful of reasons one sells all of their ships, they are leaving game, they are transitioning to pirate, they are in or are about to be in a serious conflict. I assumed the last option as I don't think you would be going full pirate or leaving the game. My comment was based on my assumption of conflict, which you are no stranger to.
