There are a lot of level 1 trade vessels selling for suspiciously high prices right now. Several large fluits and LMMs selling for 5 credits each.

yeah, I noticed that too : listed at that price and bid on even though there were others listed cheaper : cant see why though, if you want to transfer credits just use 'send credit' function : an odd way to be going about it.

When i saw level 1 lmms for 5c prize and already bidded it was weird. because level 2 lmms was auctioned for 1 c and no bid on them:)

maybe someone made an agreement to sell his ships and to make it easy to find by other guy put abnormal prize so he can easily bid for them and after sell maybe he will give some of credits back to him.

maybe to push sale thru quicker to keep dock space open

Yes, this is what I suspect. Which would be against the rules, as I understand them.

but in a week ago someone posted his auctioned ships ids in forum and ask if someone will bid for his 4 lmm ships he would pay 2c back to the buyer.

the LMM's that I did have in market sat there for a long time while more expensive ones were being purchased. Weeks.

It seems to me the markets are usually crazy when there is a credit special, and this one has been going on for a while I think.

That's illegal.

The only acceptable method is to offer deals for ships that do not normally sell (or have not sold for a long time using a 1 credit price). Such ships are usually howkers,sloops and cutters. At such cases only, you are allowed to create a public offer in the Tavern. Without a public offer,posted at the forums, it is still illegal.

Obviously, what happened in the market was against the game rules and the issue has been dealt. Nothing major surely but still this means that we need to release Market History so you can easily report in the future.
