After a Guild discussion on shipwreck hunting we got to wondering if the 1st ship ever built ie #1 is still in the game or is it lost for ever, and what type of ship was/is it. I think it is probably going to be a Howker or a Cutter.

If I remember correctly, a year or two again the Admin wiped half of the Shipwrecks out.

Do not know if they wiped such ships out, but at least 50,000 were lost. Flushed from the server.

Bigger question is, what will happen when there is 0 shipwrecks? Will the Shipwreck feature be a useless one?

Agree that would be very nice to know, even better the status of the first ten ships.

what was the first galleon?
what was the first merchant man>
what was the first frigate
what was the first Sotl

... for every ship type

Even better if we could know the Id Numbers for the first 10 of each ship type,

I am not a ship collector, however I would find it interesting.

Not useless, just less used. If you think about it a bit... An empty port could play into battle tactics. Tis all I will say.

Not useless, just less used. If you think about it a bit... An empty port could play into battle tactics. Tis all I will say.

I passed this one up on purpose, but as shadow has commented on it, "I have, for some time now, been looking forward to the day there are no shipwrecks left!"

True if a port runs out of shipwrecks then if a prized ship gets sunk at said port there would be a mad rush of shipwreck hunters trying to raise it.

well I used the voodoo rotten food on #1 and it said ship not found, so either its on the sea floor or it no longer exists.

or if I owned ship #1, which I don't, I would probably put it in my marina and it would not be affected by voodoo.
