There is a limit already. You cannot display more than 40 characters when you're displaying fleet names (The names themselves seem to be capable of being much, much longer though).

But I disagree, there shouldn't be limits for dis. It's fun and useful at certain occasions. And, the above mentioned fleet wasn't long at all. Since it's written in CamelCase, I think the Fleet's owner was aware of the fact too.
