Why does the chat bar float can't it be static on the screen it would make it a lot easier to use on a cell phone

The game was not designed for phones : it was designed for the PC and a 'normal' monitor screen : it's inevitable that adapting it to be accessed on a small-screen phone means compromises and less ease of use : that said, I was restricted to phone-only access last week and whilst some aspects were 'fiddly', in general I was able to monitor and maintain my account well enough.

A 'floating' chat-bar didnt seem to be a major annoyance to me : I found other features to be more irritating, such as fixed-width dialog boxes with 'cancel/ok' buttons always ending up half-a-mile off-screen : but hey, cheap phone with a small screen so... meh...

Everything functions well other than chat. Chat doesn't make me gold or caste voodoo, so I can live without it. Just PM people and tell them you're on mobile. Most people know

Although I do understand it was designed to play on the PC but as I have learned a lot of people use their cell phones and I'm sure it's not that difficult to make the chat bar static.. if everyone knows it's an issue why wouldn't we want to fix it

Live with it. I haven't used a pc (only mobile) in over 5 months.
