I still think its kinda weird to be able to move an enemy nation so when they attack they become a pirate.. that just makes no sence to me..

you can slam someone with voodoo and then join there nation so when they counter attack they lose there nationality

That's why the Hired Diplomat card exists : to remove hostility : it's the players choice to hit another player (or NPC), whatever flag they fly then 10 hostility points will be gained each and every time : it's not rocket science, dont hit them 8 times in a row without cleaning up (or waiting for the -1 per hour drop) after hit #7. Its a fair rule and applies to everyone equally.

It would make more sense to have a trial period or whatever when someone moves to a new nation where hostility points arnt gained or something like that.. so people cant pull tricks like that

Mack, it isn't weird. Once you pass the mission to become a citizen of said nation, you should be treated like one.
