Only 24 hours until the bids end for the magnificent level 9 SoL with 58 points! With a little care, that will become a 62 point level 10. Bid now, before it's too late!

The level 10 has a base value of 17,8M and is on sale for 120 credits. Even if you sell the ship to the shipwright (12,5M), that's 104k gc pr credit - a decent exchange rate.

The level 8 has a base value of 9,5M and is on sale for 80 credits. That's 6,7M sold to shipwright, at 83 gc pr credit - still better than the banks!

At a related note: Would it be considered cheating if I got a guildmate to buy them off the market and sell them to the shipwright? I suppose that could in a sense be seen as "hiding" values. I still think that a "sell to shipwright" option available to ships on the market would be nice. We don't have THAT many slots, and if they can only be sold to shipwright, not returned, ships cannot be hidden this way. It COULD be seen as a way of hiding the gold one would get for the sale, though.

I don't think so that it will quallify as cheating because it'a trade over the regular channels but again I could be wrong

You can advertise it to your guildmate about it, but not beyond that.

The way our guild works, I think that would not be a good idea, Guluere.

Our guild is a TEAM. Without going into details, such an "adverticement" would be almost the same as an arrangement about buying and selling ships from the market. And this is something I feel may be off-limits. "Hiding" ships in the market would be exploiting it. What I really want, is just an option to sell the ships I have on the market, to the shipwright instead, if I can't sell them for a decent price. When the price drops to what the shipwright would pay, I'd say there is simply no interest in the market for such a ship.

I would prefer using the market, but I think next time I need to sell a SoL, I may just sell it directly to the shipwright at once.

As always, you completely disagree with me and didn't really understand what I said, because you are thinking sheep right then. Please read what I said again.

Advertising is fine. Even advertising at the forums (Tavern is best).

Soon, all the ship auctions history will become available to everyone in similar fashion as the voodoo market. You will not be able to see the seller and the buyer but you will be able to report whichever deal seems fishy.

Generally, any overpriced sale should be reported so we can check them for inside deals.

This also points out to what it is not fine; arranging a sale and receiving the credits through an inside deal. Like I said elsewhere, setting such a deal for one or two lvl 1 howkers to get them off the market is something where we will not bother. For expensive ships though, simply do not even try it.
