Postby Mad zag » Fri Mar 11, 2016 8:46 pm

SO I just started yesterday...

And I was doing my missions and then WHAM!!!

Attacked twice in a row, only enough money to fix the first damage... now I have 1% life! NO money to even buy trade... lovely...

I am so gone

I noticed you on Kart's thread.. you can give him your present for a credit. Sell it to the United States Federal Reserve for a good amount of gold.. I'll also send you some, just get 500 fame or more. Once done, message me, my ID is 56983. (Give Kart present, trade for gold, repair, plunder for 500 fame, msg me.)

I knew there was a learning curve, but that was nutty...

Glad I had men out on a treasure hunt...

Sorry for the outburst...

You worry too much. Good thing about this game is there is people willing to help.
Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power.

If you ever get low on gold during the early stages of the game, go to the "Court," then on the right hand side, "work as a porter." There, you can exchange turns for gold and get out of rough spots.

In general, be careful of your danger rating getting high. When it's at 3, other players can attack you.
The help files say:
*A fleet gets +1 Danger for every travel it finishes.
*A fleet gets +6 danger for every attack it does. (No danger vs NPCs!)
*A fleet gets -18 danger for every attack it receives.
*Every fleet gets -1 danger per hour.
What this means is that if you have 21 danger, other players can attack you twice in a row.

To quote Fox's guild guides, "Whatever happens remember this : You can’t die. As bad as it gets (and it can get pretty bad) you can always start over exactly where you started, with one ship and a dream."
"Dead Mod tell no tales"

Afk, looking for that palm tree island beach of Legends.

it's for each entering in port it's pain in the ...... on the beggining when you want to visit each port and build lvl 1 warehouse there
