OK, since Hideouts, etc were unveiled a lot of fleets have been take off trade roots and used to build up resources. Has this had any effect on the trade market?
Also I understand the influence of those opening banks has been attacked (on the basis that their coins are tied up). Have there been any other consequences of the recent changes.

Most Profitable Fleet Yesterday: Trader by Sir Henry Morgan 2M total profit
I think that answers the 'affects on trade routes' question quite aptly : yes, they are affected, mainly because they will need to adapt to the new features : certain goods are now in higher demand than before, to pay workers wages : new trade goods are coming into the arena with higher costs and margins.
BTW : congratulations to SHM on a notable achievement : 1m would have been a great step up for a days trade : 2m is kinda being cheeky!
PS : For some reason, the matter of the implementation of the Skirmish feature, along with cargo plunder, comes to mind... cant think why....
