Renovated her once to fit 82 barrels, right now it's long guns. And the wood will take beatings. And she'll sail fast.

Jack looks at the battle line and then looks up again

How many guns exactly?

That's a third rate shiobof the line.

Agnar smiles

As I said, renovated. In any port she'll go for a heavy frigate.

No, she will not. If she's got more than 68 guns, she's a line of battle ship, it's a universal classification. If she had stuff added on, another gun deck, her bottom increased in size and slightly elongated that's one thing. But "renovating" her will not add more cannon, she'll have her masts fixed, and her yards, but renovation doesn't add more guns, at least not that many.

The wreck she came in at that point, it could be repairing and renovating. And a few of them can be hidden in a secret room or two. Literally just perfectly aligned wooden sections which one can remove, if they know where they are.
