The golem follows behind Jack, as the tunnel eventually leads to the cellar of the tavern, where Oggie and Carl are waiting. Carl waves at Jack while Oggie nods. Oggie says rather upset.

We figured the best way to get you out without the cult noticing was to do it through my cellar. But now I have a tunnel leading to a bunch of corpses under my tavern so I'm a bit upset now. But once the cults gone we can patch it up. The good news is that the cult probably thinks your all dead. So they won't be expecting you to come back. But we need to be more careful this time. Rushing in guns blazing against a bunch of cult members isn't a good idea. Thankfully, your little witch friend managed to find out where one of their strongholds is. A rather large mansion in the noble's district is home to a higher up member of the cult, a man by the name of Felior. They seem to be having a meeting to discuss the blockade later tonight, and how to pass it. We should try to catch Felior alive, and not get caught by the other cult members. Sadly, noble district is blocked off to most people without a pass. And I don't have one, so we gotta sneak in.

Greg pats Oggie on the back.

Don't look so down trot, friend. We know have a place to put the soon to be dead guys we captured and all those dead rats without drawing suspicion to ourselves.

Carl kinda looks a bit worried.

Well, I suggest we put the corpses of those currently in there to a proper burial with rights. If not now, then as soon as possible. Emily told me that bad things can happen if corpses of those wronged in life are left alone too long. Showed me a few examples too, and honestly what I saw was quite horrifying. And putting the corpses of those who wronged them with them will definitely end badly.

Oggie nods.

I can talk to a local priest. Invite him over for drinks as a cover and he can sanctify them when he comes over. Can't bury them, and with the plague it would be best to burn them. But I can get it taken care of. Poor blokes. Starving to death is a horrible fate. Id imagine they would be itching for revenge.

How're we going to sneak in?

We tried the sneaking in with our last encounter. That didn't work out so well.

Turns quickly to Oggie.

Have there been any plague victims in the noble district?

[Meliva]

Oggie shrugs.

No idea. Remember ive been more or less stuck in this tavern. The cult has it out for me, so aside from that ambush we did a while back I havn't left this place once. And the nobles even in good times try to keep themselves separated from the commoners, and when this plague hit, they doubled down on their fences and guards. No commoners I know of have been in their district since the plague started, so for all I know they could be dying by the dozen, or sipping wine care free. The only way you could get into the noble district without sneaking in would be if you had a noteworthy noble to help you.

Carl grins like a maniac as he shouts he knows just the person and bolts off. As he runs he shouts that they need to get a hold of some guard uniforms with masks, and he can take care of the rest. Oggie nods as he turns to the others.

Well, if you need guard uniforms, you lot should go to the fort, and tell them Oggie sent you. Commander Ander will hook you up-he's an old buddy of mine, and wants the cult gone almost more then me. I suggest if you leave to go in disguise or covered up. We want the cult to think your still stuck in those caves starving.
