Guthard nods.

You are welcome to do so, just be careful. Many beasts live in the deeper waters-we rarely venture too far from this island due to them. Most live further west, along with a few other groups of people. Some hostile, some friendly, and some just strange. Would you like to explore our island? it has many wonderful sights, and ancient buildings. There is even a mighty forge in the northeast mountain. Many great weapons and tools were made there.

Zephyra looks to the figure of the wizard before she looks to the chief.

Isn't that a statue of Solberg? The one who made the demon slaying sword?

The chief nods and smiles proudly.

It is him. He made that sword in the great forge ages ago, with powerful blessings and magic. Would you like to see the forge?

Jack touches the hilt of his sword and smiles

Yes, I think we would like to explore the Island. What are the names of the other nations?

He thinks as he begins walking gesturing them to follow.

Well, there are 3 major nations i know of well, but also a few smaller tribes also. The closest to us is the Une people. They, like us live in old stone buildings. They also have a very strange fascination with masks, and while friendly can be very creepy at times. But they are good trade partners. The Plun are a bit farther away and prefer their isolation. Trades with others as little as possible and keeps people out. Then the Dag are people who i advise to be careful of. They are very cruel and hostile.

The chief stops at a very large metal building covered in runes, with a large giant sized door sealed shut, a single word on it-Danger

This building, is full of great beasts and monsters that are sealed inside. I hear mages made this place for the sole purpose of locking up anything they deem too dangerous to be allowed to roam free.

He continues moving to the forge-its very large, and is powered by magma- various weapons, items, tools and other forged items are around. He nods to the group.

Feel free to look around-all these items are of great work, and feel free to ask about anything you fancy.

Brian spots a rather impressive looking shield, which the chieftans decides to gift him as he speaks.

That is a shield Solberg made. Really strong, helps block most magic. You all can take one item from here if you wish. Most have some sort of enchantment or blessing. Solberg had a powerful priestess as a friend, and those 2 made various items. Many of which for the purpose of killing or destroying demons or undead. The 2 had a great hatred of them. Some of these items were made by Zin though-a very weird wizard honestly, who made a bunch of weird items.

The chief shakes his head

He lived on the other mountain on the island, in a lair. None of us have went in-he had many traps, guards and other defenses set up to keep all out. He was a friendly man, but mages don't like people going into their homes uninvited. But he spent a fair amount of time in the forge making things.

Zephyra nods.

Yeah solberg was a very talented craftsman. You know he holds the record for longest leader of the mage guild. He was the leader before my mother, but he stepped down about 700 years ago.

Jack looks confused

Nay, I meant here, on this island.

Fr. Michael looks to the chieftain inquiringly

So who was this friend of Solberg's? I've heard of him but not of this other person.

The chieftan nods

Thought you meant if he lived in the forge. Though to be completely honest he didn't live only on the island. He had a tower far to the east he lived in, and would move between them when needed. I believe the priestesses name was Jessica. Not much is written on her honestly-she did not live near us like Solberg, and mainly only came to help make things in the forge.
