Veera quickly enters after him, looking very intently ahead as she looks to the floor and walls

Be sure to keep an eye out for any traps just in case. Old places like this can be riddled with them.

As she says this, Gaster unwittingly opens a trapped chest, getting smacked back by a spike that slammed him in the chest*

Veera just sighs

Probably shouldn't loot the place either-I do not think the folks we are here to recruit will appreciate it much. I certainly wouldn't be happy if guests in my home tried to rifle through my belongings and taking stuff. If you don't think you can advance without stumbling over any traps, would you prefer I take the lead? Or would you rather just tank through everything?

[Henry Avery]

You go first- I'm half blind.

[Meliva]

Veera nods and begins moving forward, making sure to disable every trap she see's as she goes deeper in. After a while, they begin to hear movements deeper in, and the last of the traps is disabled. Veera quickly checks herself in a small mirror before nodding to Gaster

So, do you want to talk to them first, or should I?

[Henry Avery]

Why don't we go together? As I remember, up ahead is the throne room, where the Deathlords hold Court.

[Meliva]

Veera just sighs

We are going together-I'm asking if you want to do the talking first, or should I? Can't exactly both talk to them at the same time. You know them better then I, so you might be a better choice to lead off-I'll make sure they don't try anything funny.

[Henry Avery]

Oh- Indeed, I likely should. He proceeded ahead into the chamber. It had a high ceiling, and thrones lined the walls. On a raised dais at the far end, a corpse with bluish gray skin sat on a throne. He wore ancient iron armor, and a rusty great sword leaned against his throne. At their entrance, he raised his head, and spoke with a wheezing rasp.

Surface dwellers.... You have come a long way to die....

[Meliva]

Veera just smiles

Well, we're more or less walking corpses already. Would you like to check our pulse to see for yourself? Regardless, we've come to recruit you folks for a fight-Gaster here can tell you a bit more about it.
