The Love Tiger and Hawk have missed the date. Stanly Roise and Cracked Cubes are coming up on theirs right now. Might I suggest using Bribes on me may help to make your date be the correct one? I pay 1 million per Bribe used on me plus I give a 10% bonus if you use more than one. Why not use them right before your date? Who knows? It could make you the winner. It makes more sense to use them before your date than after your date.

I am putting up 10 million gold in a contest. That's right the winner gets 10 million gold from yours truly. It will be sent to the bank of your choice and I will even pay the bank fees for the payment.

The contest is to guess what day I will gain my 600th captain. I know there is a rumor that I have over a thousand ships, This is just a rumor, over 600 of those ships actually belong to some one else. Or they did belong to some one else at one time or another.

So, why do I have so many ships and so few captains? That was how the game used to be played until the developers decided to change the rules on me and everyone else. My strategy was one of not building any more ships as the captains simply cost too much. I would capture what I needed. Mind you, with many of the ships I took I actually gave my victim gold afterwards in an amount that made many of them glad I took the ship. I actually had people thanking me after taking their ship from time to time. It was cheaper to pay 1 million to gain a LMM or Howker I needed than to pay 4 million for a captain.

So, in order to help you in your guess let me give a little information out. If you look at my forum post concerning Buying Bribes I had 390 captains at that time. I now have 530 Captains. That should give you some context to how the growth has been going. I am still buying Bribes and that is part of my strategy to increase my captains. However, as I have filled up every bank over level 1 and some level 1s, my bank is way past full and I think if I sneaked any more gold in my bank Admin would have a duck and freak out, plus I have secured gold in the ground in case I am hit with a Blacklist, so I have just started actually paying gold to hire captains as well. I am hiring captains with my profits from my trade fleets. This will of course accelerate the captains growth. You can guess how much gold I make each day for yourself based on the number of my ships (1,028), but I will not tell anyone. I am not transporting gold so you can rule that amount out. Keep in mind I do make a profit additionally from the use of Forced Labor and Military Service cards used by other people. Here is a clue for you on my spending for captains...captain #531 will cost 4,894,426 gold to hire.

When posting your guess be sure you are identifiable by me. Some people have changed their name from what it is in the forums and I don't know who you are. If there is any doubt send me a letter telling me what your forum name is so there wont be any mix ups. You can send the letter to Kart #44546. I have never changed my name so it should be easy.

Rule #1 - The guess closest to the date FOLLOWING the upkeep on the day I hit 600 captains will be considered the winning date. Example, if I hit captain #600 on the day of 1350 according to game calendar it will not be official unless I keep this captain past the next upkeep. This means the actually day of the winner would be 1351 as that would be the date after upkeep that I had the 600 captains.

Rule #2 - All guesses must be posted in this forum post as a reply.

Rule #3 - In the case of duplicate guesses the one who guesses the date first is the winner. So if a date is already taken you need to guess another.

Rule #4 - If no one guesses the correct date the winner will be the next closest guess eliminating all the guesses whose date has already past. The winner will be the one who guessed the closest with out guessing too soon.

Rule #5 - If you use a Spy Network or a Trade Master card on me your guess will be disqualified. This means if you use it before or after you make your guess. Those who have already used such cards on me are in luck as they will not count against you. In other words from this date forward, if you use either one of these cards on me you will be banned from the contest.

Rule #6 - I have no desire to help those who wish to do me harm. So, if you cast any "harmful or probing" voodoo on me after this posting you will be banned from the contest. If you light my fleets up you are out. If you cast to take away fame and I see your name you are out, if you use Assassin on me you are out. If I see you are trying to manipulate the amount of captains I have or will have, other than through the use of Bribe cards (I am still paying for them) you are out.

Rule #7 - Clarification concerning Academy if it is introduced during the contest. If the Academy is introduced during the contest I will not research or build any buildings until the contest is over. In fact I am dedicating my game to this contest in that I will build no more in my hideout until the contest is over.

Rule #8 - The winner will be notified and paid prior to the public finding out the contest is over. Once the winner is paid I will announce the winner and the winning date.

Rule #9 In case the winner does not answer my letter informing him/her they have won within 24 hours the next closest guess will be declared the winner based on the decision rule #4. This means if I hit send on the letter at 00:01 and you answer on the next day at 00:02 you are too late.

Rule #10 - Have fun with it. That is why I am doing this.
