In port, a few ships dock silently, and more men board and quickly disappear into the night

The sisters have just finished speaking with all the orphans, a few of them tell them that they heard a group of people plan to attempt to kill the governor. They quickly warn him of the threat, and he quickly sets guards around and inside his mansion, along with several patrol's around the mansion. Meanwhile Veera is watching the port, seeing the men quickly board some boats, she quickly takes out a small bag of dust, sprinkes it on a rock, chants in a strange language and tosses the rock in the air as she quickly leaves back into the shadows heading home. The rock floats in the air for about a minute, before bursting into a green flame and splitting into several pieces. The shards begin rocketing towards the ships slamming into them and setting them ablaze. As Veera hears the shouts and scream coming from port she smiles.

That ought to cause those men some trouble. Maybe i can find some of those children from earlier today also, i have a whole slew of ideas for them.

The men pay no attention to the burning ship, and they move toward the governor's mansion

On the other side of the port, the group of kids hunt around some abandon warehouses for trinkets

Veera begins to stalk the men, noticing them heading to the governor's mansion she looks annoyed. She says to herself under her breath.

If those idiots kill the governor, that would be problematic for me. Guess I'm gonna have to help out for once.

She takes out some more dust, looks around and spots a crow, a sinister smile appears on her face as she quickly blows some dust towards it. The crow begins to twitch before flying to her. She looks into it's eyes and speaks to it.

The governor is in danger, be prepared to fight.

The crow speaks the words back to her in her own voice, and she sends it to deliver the message to the guards. The guards upon hearing it immediately begin barricading the mansion and prepare for an assault.

One of the men takes out an orb, and places it on the ground, the orb opens as he chants, and the party seems to disappear
As quickly as possible, the people manage to enter the yard of the mansion

Unless that orb lets them phase through objects too, I don't see how they got in-especially unnoticed. The guards barricaded the mansion, and even if they hadn't they would notice a door opening on its own.

Oops, I though there was an open door, I'll change that now

[Meliva]

Veera see's the men vanish, and she reaches back into her pouch and brings out a little bit more dust. She curses

Ugh, if I had known Id be dealing with crap like this I would have brought a lot more dust.

She begins thinking of what she can do with what little dust she has left. After thinking for a bit she curses again.

This much dust won't be enough to help against these guys if they have some voodoo themselves, so i suppose im gonna have to resort to more drastic measures.

She puts her remaining dust in a bottle, takes a dagger and cuts herself. She then puts her blood into the bottle and mixes it with the dust. She takes a a few drops of the potion and puts it into her eyes. They sting badly but she manages to see the men now. She decides to wait until they make another move before doing anything further to see if they have any other voodoo they plan to use. She mumbles to herself.

Gotta conserve this potion, can't waste it without knowing what they can do. Just gotta be patient.

Suddenly, the men attack, the guards were expecting for an attack from outside, not from the inside, and were caught by surprise, and were massacred
