She just smiles as everyone suddenly feels their hearts stop and an intense freezing pain of cold is on their chests. Emily looks concerned as she quickly leaps up, but is quickly frozen solid. Rhena tips it over shattering her to pieces. Rhena just laughs

I could kill you all now without you needing to turn around actually. Just use a bit of ice magic and freeze your heart. If I really wanted to I could just freeze you solid like I did her, before you can react, then shatter you.

As they start to fade out from lack of oxygen, their hearts start pumping again, as Rhena quickly reassembles Emily, and thaws her out. Emily glares at her but Rhena just laughs

Merely wished to prove a point. I could have killed any of you whenever i wanted. But, I must give you all credit. You ended my attacks and made it deep to my lair, albeit with help. It is still somewhat impressive. You beating my hordes is a good lesson. I will learn from my failures here, and become a wiser, more clever person in the future-for that you have my thanks. My next horde of attacks will be FAR stronger and more difficult to stop. I will probably unleash them in a couple hundred years, give the ports time to recover. Regardless, have a pleasant day.

Before anyone can react they all find themselves back in the arena far above her lair. Emily glowers down and curses.

Edvin just nods

In a couple of hundred years, she says. Then, we ain't around to stop her.

Vune is nearby sitting down as she just laughs.

Classic immortal move honestly. Enemies too tough or annoying? Wait til they die of old age before trying again.

Brian just glowers at her before speaking.

So you could have stopped all of it from the start? And you could have finished her off without us too?

Vune nods.

I also knew she was finished with her attacks for now, and wouldn't start again for several hundred years so there was no need to send you down there at all. I also knew that you all had NO way of actually killing her, and that it was highly likely you would all die. Well i knew moppet wouldn't die anyway, and she was the only one in your group i care about. Well her and Cherub.

That was lovely words, Vune. Almost sounds like you're trying to kill us indirectly.

Vune just laughs.

If I truly wanted you all dead, I could just do what Rhena did and finish it fast and quick. or just drop a house on all of you. This was purely just for ships and giggles.

To be honest, I get bored pretty easily, so when I see an opportunity for some entertainment I normally take it. Which is why I made that tunnel to her lair. I had nothing better to do, and had a score to settle, so why not. Then I came up with the idea to get you all to go in too, and see how you fared.

She claps a few times as she straightens the mask she's wearing

All in all you did great. Very impressive. And just like Rhena I learned a lot from all of this. Regardless, the tunnel still exists, so you all can go back down to try to kill her if you want, I got some business to attend to.

Vune quickly gives Emily a big hug and takes back the mask she gave her.

Vune teleports away while Emily just sighs and sits down tired.

Agnar falls to the side, deep asleep. Edvin takes off his cloak, folds it and puts it under Agnars head. Edvin doesn't seem to be much more than 15, but there's a serious expression on his face, and his eyes stone cold. Mikkel breaks the silence

I don't think he has slept properly for long. Something seems to cause him trouble.

Emily messes with her hair a bit before responding.

Could get some potions made to help with sleep and stress. Honestly after all this, even I feel tired.

Edvin shrugs

He tend to prefer natural sleep. Because I had to put him to sleep with a drugged arrow once, which almost killed him.

Emily shrugs.

Well i know other tricks for easy sleep aside from potions and drugs. Enchant something to put you to sleep, or use a sleep spell on yourself. Or, just target for whatever is keeping you frm sleep. Since if a person can't sleep properly something is probably causing the problem.

Stress, pain, noises etc. Find what's preventing sleep, then remove the problem. If he's stressed then take a day off relaxing. If he is in pain, medicine and pain relieving potion.

Regardless he can contact me for help if he wants it. But until then i plan to just stay in my castle doing stuff.

Brian and Carl both leave and come back with plenty of drinks and food deciding to rest for a bit before doing anything else.
