Meadow smiles as she takes out a sword and begins following the hooded figures tracks..

Wonder if this is some cult member. Let's try to take this person alive. Would be too easy to just kill them, and we wont find out anything doing so.

How do we capture him?

Meadow sighs and hands Carl her cloak from a bag. He dons it and thanks her. Meadow says to the others.

First we follow the trail silently, and once we catch sight of them we rush them and tackle them down. Ill lead alright.

Meadow tears her dress a bit, as it would get caught in the branches and begins following the trail. As she follows it, She and all the others feel slightly strange, their hairs on their necks stand up. Meadow says to them quietly.

Seems like there might be some sort of magic nearby. Be careful.

Meadow jumps back as she notices a hound leap at her. It seems to have 2 heads, and looks quite disgusting. A few other bizare animals show up, a few large dog sized spiders, and a dozen large fanged squirrels. Carl looks in confusion and whispers to the others as he and Meadow prepare to fight.

Is this a hallucination or do you all see this?

[Jack Teach]

Jack looks around

Raven moves into a defensive stance
Why are there giant spiders nearly everywhere we go?

The creatures seem to hesitate to attack, and they quickly run off into the woods. Meadow nods as she continues following the hooded figures trail. Eventually she spots the figure, it seems to be doing something with a strange looking obelisk. She quickly rushes the figure tackling it down. The figure tries to push her off, but after a few moments Meadow gets a good look at the figures face.

Wait, is that you Emily.

Emily pushes meadow off and yells yes. She looks to Jack and Raven. Emily does not look good. Her skin is deathly pale, her eyes are rather dull and her hair is turning white.

Hey Jack, Hey raven. Nice to see you 2 again.

Meadow steps back.

What on earth happened to you.

Emily sighs.

Its not particularly "healthy" for someone to be exposed to very high levels of magic for extended periods of time. I'm currently in the process of a rather big project. one that will help immensely in the future. This obelisk is part of that project. But I can't say more then that for now. So how are you lot doing.

Emily smiles at them as she dusts herself off.

Jack wobbles slightly.

Fine, just drunk.

Emily thinks for a moment, feeling she's forgetting something until she remembers.

Hey Jack, I remember you said you wanted to start your own pirate colony or something, don't know if you did so already but if not, you can settle on Valorim. That would help keep people out of my tower and cavern, and I can give the men there potions and other magical help. Up to you if you want to take me up on the deal. If not I may have to copy what Solberg did and just put new spiders into the forest. Which is something I would rather not do.

Aye, but I'll have to build the settlements on the other side of the island, especially the church.
