jack takes a sip of wine.

Well, at the age of 12, I joined the Royal Navy on a frigate, mishipman, however, I exceeded everyone else in my studies as I'd already studied seamanship at the age of six, so at the age of 14, I deserted and joined up with a group of young pirates which I found to be quite strange thing. I quickly rose through the ranks and at the gae of 16 I was the quartermaster aboard a 12 gun sloop. But our captain, whose name was Marie, proved to be a bad captain as she refused to take prizes, so we managed to get her off the bloody ship and I became the captain. We then sailed into thorakas and burned every single ship in the harbor, and that's how I became a pirate.

Brian looks confused.

Why the hell did you burn all the ships? That just seems like a colossal waste. Could have tried to round up some men in the tavern and steal a bigger better ship to pirate with. Regardless, Raven you wanna share a story, his was short so we should have the time for one more before the next step.

Jack puts his hand in the air.

We did in fact rob the bank on horseback first, we just burned the ships so they couldn't chase us. We almost stole a brigantine, but the bloody crew was drunk, which is why I then created a code for them to follow.

Raven looks at the roof, as if recalling something
It was the dead of the night, our company had been hired to take out some pirates, I was still a squire then, turns out the whole assignment was a cutting board, and we were the meat, 500 men fell that night, and only a handful made it out, the old man had knighted me right before he died, then I took his armor and went to the nearest port, where I became a small merchant until now.
God is dead. Long live the machine.

A young man comes in the room.

Admiral Adam, we are now in British waters. A few scouts report that a large British fleet is on route to France right now, and a second fleet is beginning to form a blockade all around France to cut off sea trade for them. So if we wait a couple days we should be able to hit them with most of their fleets and men away

Adam nods.

Aye, I think we all should get a good nights sleep now. And I will be having all liquor locked up from here on out. I don't know if you keep any liquor on your ships Jack, but if you do I suggest you lock it up or toss it. I also doubt Ellen being a nun keeps any on her ship but Brian tell her to lock it away if she does.

Brian nods but can't help but laugh

She actually has plenty of it on her ship, never leaves a port without at least 2 barrels of rum or something similar. Partly because it works good as a disinffectant, and partly because its one of her guilty pleasures to have a hard drink every morning. But ill pass it on.

Jack goes back to the st Dismas and sleeps there. He then makes sure everything is ready, and has his ships fly plague colors, in order to let passing ships to stay away. He sends a message to Admiral Adam, saying he should do the same.

sorry lol

Its Admiral Adam, Quinton was the admiral 13 years ago. But its an easy mistake to make, hell I almost called Ellen Abigale a while back but caught myself just in time :D.

The Admiral begins to fly Plague colors though a nearby fleet approaches, flying the Irish Flag and signal they wish to speak. Their admiral speaks to Adam and he learns they are Irish men wanting independence from Britain and heard a rumor an attack was coming on Britain, and wish to join in. Adam accepts their help, though states it won't guarantee their freedom. A large deadly looking storm is starting to Brew, so the Irish offer to lead them to a port in Ireland to stay at until it subsides. Adam signals Jack this news and begins to head to the Irish port of Dublin.

Jack smiles with delight.

Well, lads, set course for Dublin Ireland!

Jack's ships lower their plague colors and fly the Irish flag. The men on Jack's ships cheer when they here the news, as a lot of them are Irish catholic sailors, the rest are either English or Welsh (jack was born in wales, but he grew up in England and his father was Irish).
