So, time to vote again. And like last time, determining the "best" team depends on the definition of "best" - what are these teams supposed to compete in?
Let me start by the team I was drafted on. Tom Lowe has selected a team I think would be fun to be in, and I also think most of those players would work well as a team. That is very important. It may not have the huge traders, but I don't think they would fit in very well anyway. This team would be one of action, I think, and so those huge traders would just be prone to retribution. This is a team that could, I believe, shut down the operation of any other group. A team that would be able to use "denial" strategies. It can deny the use of trade fleets. The control of ports or nations. A good team.
Yet, like last time, I will not vote on the team I find myself on, so I'll have to find the second best team, I guess. And I think I will not vote for what I consider the team of strongest players. Or most wealthy. But rather, the team among the other four I think would actually best work as a team. Function together. This team lacks a bit when it comes to power, and it also has another important shortfall (it lacks members from the best guild in Avonmora!), but with some hesitation, my vote goes to team Slindur. I think this could, indeed, be a TEAM. Well done!
