in the next cavern 3 passages lead forward, another apprentice comes forward.

The 3 ways forward are all pretty bad. Left has tons of traps, right has tons of guards, don't know what's down the center, but it isn't good. All 3 eventually lead to just outside Rhena's lair. Up to you what you want to deal with.

Emily groans as she thinks before speaking.

Im fine with whatever. I can't die so its up to you all.

The armors transform to form some sort of golem, charged with bright blue energy, it then disappears in a flash of light

As the group begins to head down the right passage the apprentice shouts something right quick.

Oh, and once you go down one, it blocks off.

Before they can do anything else the passage seals shut. Emily shrugs and looks forward, seeing large cavern with nothing in it. She launches a quick blast in it and nothing happens. She goes in and after a while the walls slide open revealing tons of corrosive slimes, golems, mutated bugs, and various other abominations as they quickly rush forward attacking the men. Brian and Carl fight alongside Agnar and his friends, while Emily blasts the golems apart. She notices they lack the word emet on their heads, so they can't be disabled easily.

Jack and his men fight furiously against the enemies.

The golem appears through a flash of light before raising his hand and pointing at the enemy

A beam fires from the golem’s hand, destroying bugs, slime and some golems alike

Upon death all the creatures emit gasses, filling the room up with noxious fumes. Emily looks worried when she realizes what they intend to do, and she quickly makes a barrier around her closest friends, as one of the creatures creates a spark, igniting the entire cavern in a large explosion. When the smoke clears a path is open, but anyone who wasn't in Emily's barrier is dead. She checks around quickly, she managed to save Jack, the priest, Agnar and his men, Carl and Brian and about 10 other men. The golem, is currently a pile of liquid mush, as several lightning bolts strike it vaporizing it. Emily sighs as she continues onward. Meanwhile back where the last apprentice was a short time ago, the robed figure laughs as it shapes into Rhena.

Now, those fools are going down the most dangerous paths. Oh this is lovely. Glad I got them to avoid the center path the mages cleared for them. Now then, I better prepare more traps for their arrival. If any make it that is.

Rhena goes to a small compartment and takes out a tied up mage, before releasing her.

As a fellow mage, ill spare you. But not a word of this to the others until the day is over. Or I will hunt you down and kill you.

The mage agrees and quickly leaves. Rhena smiles when she hears the explosion and teleports further ahead to prepare.

Jack looks about.

Emily sighs as she points back where they came from before speaking.

Well, I could blast open a path out, and we can give up and ask the Vune to finish the job. But I don't think she'd actually finish it-she really doesn't give a damn if Rhena is stopped or not, since Rhena isn't targeting fellow mages. She only helped as much as she did because Rhena angered her. Honestly, all we can do now is push forward. That apprentice was either uninformed or an idiot, not bothering to warn us of such a trap.

Emily turns to the path forward and begins walking. She shouts back.

Keep an eye out for enemies and traps. If any are injured patch up now, I will take a quick scout ahead.

Brian nods as he takes out a medkit, while examining the remaining men. Carl scavenges through the remains of the beasts and fallen men for anything useful.
