RolePlay Pirates in Prote

[Jack Teach]

The pirates snicker among themselves and pool in their resources, which amount to a meager 30 copper and 3 gold pieces. Jack tosses the money in a bag at the kobold leader.

That's the lot of it. Now get out of our way.

[Meliva]

The kobold nods

Deal is a deal. Toll to pass through once is paid. Pyrog will kill you all when he see's you anyway if you go to him. Best we collect what we can now.

The kobolds quickly move out of the way. Mel quietly whispers to Jack

Pyrog is the dragons name I believe if memory serves. If you got any questions ask them now. If not we can move on.

[Jack Teach]

Jack says he doesn't have any questions as he and his men begin marching onward, they begin to look more nervous as they get closer

[Meliva]

As they reach the foot of the mountains, they see a large shadow fly over them, as it lands to rest higher atop the mountains looking down at them. It's a massive dragon, red scales, and burning red eyes. It growls as it speaks

Little morsels, what are you doing in my mountains. Why should I not eat you now?

Meliva whispers to Jack as she begins handing out protective charms to anyone who wants one

Do you wanna offer it the cow and rum or should I?

[Jack Teach]

Jack, sweating bullets, whispers back

You know more about these things, so if you please..

Jack wipes the sweat from his face and adopts a friendly disposition

[Meliva]

Meliva steps forward and gives a deep bow as she tugs the cow forward.

Great Pyrog, we merely come by to offer a live cow, and a barrel of fine rum. We merely wish to speak with such an ancient and wise creature for a time.

Pyrog quickly steps forward, examines the items.

Your offering pleases me. I shall eat it and talk with you.

Pyrog quickly eats the cow, before drinking the rum. Looking to them as it waits. Meliva whispers to Jack

Gonna take a few minutes for it to combine and take effect. You ask it some questions while I go sneak in and grab the flute we need from it's hoard. I'll rush back to help with killing it when I hear it roar in pain.

[Jack Teach]

Jack asked the dragon a number of very high brow questions whilst waiting for Mel to get the flute.

[Meliva]

After some time, the dragon pauses and clutches it's stomach before roaring in pain. It glares at Jack and his men, before growling

Deceitful little insects. I'll enjoy killing you all.

It charges forward, quickly eating one man and crushing another with it's claw, while Mel pops back up and blasts it from behind with some lightning.

[Jack Teach]

Jack draws the special sword and rams it into the dragon's belly, before pulling it out and viciously hacking at it repeatedly.

[Meliva]

The dragon rears back and let's loose a big burst of flame, though the charms handed out earlier repel most of it, this failing, the dragon flaps it's wings trying to take off, though Mel quickly freezes it's wings shut, grounding it. The dragon then goes back to clawing and biting at any nearby men.
