Melissa just sighs as she blasts a large group of the skeletons apart with a spell

Honestly, so rude to come crashing a party you know. We will be making sure you pay for this you know.

Nearby Veera and Emily hear the racket, as they chat in the bar. Veera just sighs sounding angry

Sounds like things went south. You know, the sad part is, that I was hoping to convince them to help us out, but it seems like Gaster is going to either make them stay neutral, or worse case scenario, join up with Dreadbolt out of spite. And you said he came with the intent to try to recruit them Emi? Someone should inform Gaster that crashing and ruining a party is not a good way of getting allies.

Emily just nods as she thinks

So, should we help Gaster out, help the Hawthornes, or stay outta this?

Veera grabs another drink and sighs

Stay out of it. For now anyway.

He laughs.

Darling, you deal with magics you do not understand. I have no wish to "crash" the party. I'm here to make a deal. But perhaps a demonstration of my resources is in order? Perhaps a visit from the Shadelich would make you more amiable?

Melissa rolls her eyes

The only person here who's dealt with things they did not understand is you. Also it seems you do not understand that sending skeleton warriors to attack a party, is crashing the bloody party.

She gently puts a hand to her head and sighs sounding very annoyed

I mean, seriously, how are you this bloody stupid? You attack our party, and then seem to not understand, why we suddenly are NOT amiable? What response did you expect from us? To smile and offer you a bottle of wine? I literally told you not even a god damned MOMENT ago, you can stay so long as you don't cause us any trouble, and then you IMMEDIATELY, cause us trouble, and act like we should be perfectly fine with that? If you wanted to make bloody deal, you could have LED with that, and then if things went south, then bring in the skeletons. Now, instead of potentially getting a deal made without any trouble, you've caused a lot of trouble, and ruined any chance of a deal being made peacefully! What exactly is wrong with your ability to think rationally that this made any sense to you?

BEING POSSESSED BY AN ELDRITCH HORROR ISN'T EASY ON THE MIND!

This outburst of anger turned the wind into a hurricane, blasting the windows open, and extinguishing every source of light in the manor. A shadow drowned out the moon, and then all the shadows in the manor were drawn to a central point, making everything lose depth, becoming dark shapes on an even darker background.

Melissa just stares at him smiling

And do you know WHY, you ended up possessed by that eldritch horror? Because YOU didn't understand what you were dealing with. Just because you were an idiot and screwed yourself, doesn't mean everyone who deals with evil beings is like you. Yes, we deal with Alastor. But we are not stupid about it. You come into OUR home, to lecture us about dealings we make that you know nothing about, and lecture us about not understanding, when as i said before. The only one in this home, who doesn't understand what they were dealing with is you.

And your little temper tantrum just goes to prove that. If you don't like hearing these painful truths, then by all means, leave this party. You've certainly killed the festive mood already, and now you seem intnet on throwing a temper tantrum because you are hearing painful truths. So go take a walk and cool down, and when you've calmed down, and grown up a bit, come back if you still want to make a deal. Until then, throw your little temper tantrums elsewhere. We are TRYING to have a nice party.

He has already cooled off, regaining control over his emotions.

My apologies. I will step out for a moment, and allow you and your despicable guests to have your fun. Afterwards, we can talk. But you may wish to hold it outside. It is about to be very inhospitable in here, and not by my doing. My brother is... unpredictable, and rather short-tempered, especially regarding me.

Gaster leapt from one of the windows, as the shadows formed a towering, many armed figure of roiling shadow and anger, skeletal face lit by narrowed purple eyes.

Melissa simply rolls her eyes as she casually leaves by the front door, the other's following behind bringing some food with them. Nearby Veera and Emily watch as Veera holds sighs as she looks to Emily

You know, If I had known Gaster was going got come and make a mess of everything, I'd have asked you to take him somewhere else. Where the hell did he learn his deal making skills from? Because they are not very good. Threats, and use of force are shite methods of making a deal.

Emily happily waves at him, while Veera just sighs before speaking

So, still think you know what you're doing? Doesn't seem like they will be stopping eating children, or help out against Dreadbolt. Honestly, they may send aid to Dreadbolt as revenge. Not sure what happened in the few minutes after I left, but it doesn't look like it was anything good.

He collapsed into a chair, not speaking. When he finally did, it was low, dead, and defeated.

Necromancy is a dying magic. I am an antique, clinging to remnants of power that all Avonmora once feared me for. So no, I don't know what I'm doing.
