Did that many months ago and received 40 Levis in retaliation, sinking all my Flags. All that investment in Tech and MC cards is pointless if traders are able to retaliate in this way.

LOL!! So pirates can steal ships, gold, fame and goods while causing damage to traders but they cannot retaliate hard and cause damage to pirates?i thought you guys kept blurting how this is pirates glory and you are tough! It is nice to see a pirate complaining about the same thing traders complain about. For a change.

Honestly, if someone attacked me and I had the patience to do it, that person will not spend every minute of the game under voodoo and without ships! Luckily I am more reasonable and less patient so I let things go more often than not!

Traders should have a sign saying “Approach at your own Risk”

Pirate tears -Tom Lowe wikipedia

Pirate tears (or superficial sympathy) are a false, insincere display of emotion such as a hypocrite crying fake tears of grief.
The phrase derives from an ancient belief that pirates shed tears while plundering their prey, and as such is present in many modern languages, especially in Europe where it was introduced through Latin. While pirates do have tear ducts, they weep to lubricate their eyes, typically when they have been away from the sea for a long time and their eyes begin to dry out. However, evidence suggests this could also be triggered by voodoo.

The best known example of this is Banger.

First of all dont mc flag galleons if you think that someone wont hit them. I never mc ships. I steal them :)) attribute the flag galleons correctly and that can still be a nasty 44 pointer :)
