LordAv is a player who has been around for ages. I have not had the opportunity to work with him(or against) but I feel he would be a good addition to this team. The Pirate King, also known by various other names, is a well-known pirate, strategist and master-manipulator who can think laterally to get things done. I select both these players.
My guild is my weakness and my strength.

Though not a player I know well, I have been impressed with her. Quite a bargain this late in the draft, I select Jeanne de Clisson.

All is going well at our headquarters here...

:parrot

I must say that I have 4 quality picks at this final stage of the draft. So, naturally, while I contemplated a lot for all my choices so far, these late stages are even harder. I choose...

Yosarian

He has traits of a legendary player and also has a special trait that all members of my team have.
All in all, I am glad he was available this late... in fact, I was hoping he will be.

None of my team shall be covered in the cobwebs of yesterdays glory. Not even Davy Jones would make it unless he cleaned the barnacles off with some kind of pirate action. With that being said I turn my attention to the newer players in the game. I invite Plato into the Dread Pirates. This individual has shown the desire and potential to be worthy of apprenticeship with us. Welcome :cannon

Down to the final round of the unlimited draft, mates!

For my final 2 picks I am welcoming 2 Commanders in their respective guilds; Captain Eagle and JB-Duke. I have worked with both for a long while in HELM and I can say with complete confidence that they are some of the most loyal and helpful teammates I have worked with. Our draft team is lucky to have both of them.

Cheers!

I need a new independent voice. One who will tell it like it is, then pull his weight for the group. I am pleased to award the first Dread Pirate scholarship to Deadking. :y

I will close my team regular choices with yet another SSTG member, this time, it is

Dozer White Beard

He could have been picked earlier but I gambled as I suspected he will be available. Surely his value is much greater than getting the final pick.

One more choice now left, I have one "rookie" in mind, hopefully he will be available.
I must say all choices were hard to make and still a lot of good players have not yet picked. :x

Taking a slow survey of my fellow captains in the tavern, I say,

For quite a deal, I choose Noffin as my tenth pick. :duel

For round 10, I choose another pirate. Ghent is a top pirate with more than a 1000 battle wins to his name. He is hugely underrated; stays under the radar and out of the limelight; but is effective, efficient and obviously knows what he is doing.

And finally, the rookie draft. This was a hard choice. There are several good new players who could have been chosen for various reasons. Out of a shortlist of 33 players, I have selected Cutpurse. Sometimes, one needs a bit of luck in one's endeavours. For a 5 week old player to find a ship as rare as the #1 Sloop in a newly-started salvage hunt feature and manage to sell it for a sizeable sum of gold, is quite a bit of good fortune. I add that good fortune and luck to my team. And from his fame count, one can tell that he has not just banked on luck but has added hard work to reach where he is at.
This completes my team of 11. xD
