The 2 sisters wait at the Helm as Jack requested. Ellen takes a deep breath and grabs one of the glass bottles of vodka she bought. She takes a small swig and looks at it closely.

Jack enters the ship, the bosun's pipe sounds. The bosun then cries.

Captain on deck!

jack walks down through the line off officers, as if he is an admiral in the navy. The men salute as he passes. He then walks to the helm.

Stand to your posts, set sail for due course southwest, all ships to their respective areas as I ordered. Weigh anchor, and hoist the sails, raise up our colors, come on me boys, we don't have all day!

Ellen stands around a bit uncomfortably. She says to Jack

its a very weird feeling to be on a ship where I'm not the captain and someone else is steering. That being said anyplace you would want me to help out in? I'm pretty good at most of the jobs. I'm a pretty good shot with the cannon and I know how to sail and rig. Or do you just want me and my sis to hang back until the fighting starts?

Jack turns to them and smiles.

I would prefer if you would stay here until the fighting starts.

Jack looks up at the mizzenmast topsail as his sailors let it down

Master James, don't loose your footing there mate.

The ships are now underway and Jack's 50 ships look beautiful in the morning light. Jack looks up at the sails as the men begin to sing the song "fifteen men on a dead men's chest". The sound is quite loud and reverberates through the windy, warm sea air. Any ship that sees them quickly sails away. A man comes up with three tankards of kill-devil. (Rum mixed with gunpowder).

Ellen looks to Jack

By the way Jack, did you find out which 3 of your men went rogue yet? And if so I trust you dealt with them correct? Since they are your men I won't complain on how you deal with them so long as they get punished.

I still have no idea who it was. None of me men have a scarred face described by Master White. When I find them, I will inflict a punishment worthy of the crime. Forgive me for saying this, but I'm not sure if their crimes are worthy of death. i need more evidence.

Jack takes one of the tankards of kill-devil and takes a sip. He looks as his ships begin to move to the different entrances to the caves on different entrances to the caves. It is clear that in a bout two hours, 20 ships will be with them, whilst the rest will be in their posts. Jack points to the mouth of the cave.

See the entrance? The reason we can't just storm the shore is because they are guarded by forty cannon. The pirate bases will be vanquished from all sides, before we go ashore. We must take out their batteries first. Then the men on these ships will take this island. With maybe a bit of intimidation, we might be able to take it without a fight.

Ellen looks at the cave before saying to Jack

I think you misheard part of what White said, he never said the scarred man was one of your men, just that 3 of your men helped him in burning the orphanage. If you don't think those 3 deserve death, I wont kill your men out of our friendship. But In return if those 3 are found, they are going to be put to work rebuilding that orphanage from the ground up, what you do to them after they do that is up to you. I personally wouldn't keep them on as part of the crew considering their disobedience and betrayal. The only thing that angers me almost as much as my children coming under harm is traitors. Later I can have the orphan try to identify the men from your crew. But for now we need to deal with the matter at hand.

Oh I heard him. The only problem is that I have never met anyone in me crew like that, and I know every tom, jack, bob and bill that's in me crew. Unless I kicked him out...

Ellen raises an eyebrow.

Jack you have 5000 men here, its very likely a few of your newer recruits who you might not be familiar with quite yet may have done it. I recall back in Seaglory you announced you needed more men for your crew. Or was it Regis. Regardless when we find those 3 there will be punishment. But, for now what do we do. Do we need to sneak some people in to disable the cannons, or is that already being taken care of?

Jack looks at her.

There will be no "disabling" of any guns, only destruction. Beat to quarters!

The bosun's pipe sounds again. The men go to their stations, about 6 men to each gun down below and up on deck. The 20 ships gun ports open, the Invincible opens it's ports and the guns are run out. The drums stop and everything is completely silent. The first line of " hoist the colors" is sung. The men in the caves and on shore sing it quietly, as the banner of Teach is hoisted on EVERY mast. Than jack holds up his hand.

Stand by to fire!
