foreshadowing isn't always easy to spot, often times you only spot it in hindsight. Like the dead eagle in the great Gatsby-and get serious Jack, don't just pull something like that, or ill respond with something like this.

The devil himself appears behind Jack, shoves a broom up his arse and snaps his neck. He then drags him to hell where he is sentenced to being sodomized by spikes for all eternity..

What you mean the giant hand thing doing something? I recall I used it once to kill Bob, but that is different from this. Bob is a gag character, who has no real purpose to the story and whose death doesn't matter really. Your having a hand save your ships which is a major impact on the story.

ok. Btw, that's not how grapeshot works, it's effective at close range only.

Jack looks towards the captain

Firstly, I have received a pardon from the government of Tolkau, so you'd be committing piracy yourself.

Jack holds up a piece of paper with the signature of Sir Henry Morgan.

Secondly, you have fired upon me intentionally, so you've already committed piracy.

Remember you have roughly 30 ships Jack, and the other fleet has roughly 50-there are bound to be a few ships that are within grape shot range of eachother.

The captain just smiles and laughs.

The admiral and the rest of us don't need permission from Morgan to hunt pirates or repossess ships out in international waters. Why do you think we didn't just steal your ships when you were all in Thorokas? And this is just typical pirate hunting-you lot are pirates, your possessions are probably stolen in some form or another, so us taking it back is justice really.

Besides, even if we weren't allowed to do so, the Caspian fleet could use those ships as well, and Lord Av has never given a pardon to anyone before. So i will be repeating myself only once more. Surrender these ships, hop on board 3, and you can go home, or we can just keep blasting you with fire until your all dead and take all the ships.

Jack calls back

Wrong! On international waters, you have to follow the laws of your nationThe thing is, I am not a pirate to your nation, so attacking me, would be piracy. Nor have I ever attacked any vessel hailing from caspian. I am a pirate to neither of your nations, so if you take my ships, many of you will be hung for piracy.

The wind suddenly changes, blowing in such a way that the capsian and thorakas fleet can't sail, whilst giving Jack's fleet, that doesn't have really much damage to sails, enough wind to sail out of grapehsot range. Jack looks to the sky.

Ellen? Can you hear me?

That's not entirely accurate.

Piracy is considered an act against any and all sovereign nations, regardless of who you conduct the piracy actions against. Don't confuse piracy with privateering. Unless you have a letter of marquee from the nations in question, they could take action against your piracy actions even if the piracy actions weren't against them directly.

The captain of the ship shouts back

That's where your wrong Jack. We got a letter of permission to hunt down any pirates we find straight from the king-and the admiral made damn sure to exploit a loophole to be able to hunt you. We return with your ships, the worst we are gonna get is a tongue lashing. And go ahead and keep sailing-remember we left a line of battle at the exit, and the other end has another from Caspian. It would take a bloody miracle to save your arse.

As jack looks to the sky, in a very far away place, Ellen is floating around in a very dark, cold place, with Vune nearby, both looking around shouting something. She hear's Jack call to her and sighs and fades away reappearing in front of him. Zephyra waves at her as Brian tries to hug her, phasing through, before remembering she's a ghost. Ellen looks around and just blinks before speaking.

I think I can see why you called out to me. What the hell is going on? Been a bit busy floating around Oblivion with Vune searching all over the damned place.
