Jack shrugs

I haven't any alcohol for ten hours, what'd you expect? Anyway, lets explore this place.

Vune shakes her head sadly.

And of course, no questions asked. When I eat your children, don't blame me.

Brian looks startled only for Vune to laugh

It's a joke Brian-but then again, for all you lot know, Cambions love eating children when they can. Regardless, I already explored the place top to bottom-to clear out the traps, but there are some interesting things here for sure.

She leads the group, and points at some things. Bizarre plants and animals, and strange tools. On the 2nd floor of the place the entire floor is a lovely indoor garden, and in the center is a large beautiful statue of an angel, standing in the middle of a fountain, with tears streaming down her face into the pool. Vune sits next to it and gets a cup, drinking some of it. She looks a bit sad

My sister loved art. This entire area was a huge project of hers. This water is holy water you know. It filters normal water, and blesses it. To this day I don't know how she made this thing- she never told me. The only way I can find out is if I smash it-but I don't have the heart to do so.

She gestures to a nearby tree, with 3 statues beneath it-a snake, a woman, and a man. The tree is full of delicious looking fruit of all sorts of shapes, colors and sizes.

In case you havn't realized yet, this is a recreation of the garden of eden. My sister worked hard to make this little place.

Jack looks to the garden in awe

This is almost as beautiful as the cathedral. How did Ellen make this place again?

Vune just looks sad as she replies

Ellen didn't maket this place, Emilia did. Emilia was Emily, Ellen, and Veera's mother and my sister. And sadly i do not know how she made it. The 2 of us had a falling out a long time ago. The only way i can find out how she made it is if I take it apart and inspect it piece by piece-which would destroy it in the process. And as much as i may want to know, i can't bring myself to do it.

A smile forms on her face as she points to the tree and looks to Jack

The fruits from the tree are edible, you should try some. And just between us, one of those fruits is rum flavored and chock full of alcohols.

Thank you

Jack grabs some fruit off a tree and eats it and smiles.

This is good. Who was Emilia? Like, what did she do?

Vune just gestures around to the surroundings

She created essentially. She, like me was in the Mage's guild, we both joined it together, and for a time we both were co-leaders. We did many things together, for a long time. Then, we had a falling out, we went our separate ways, deciding to have nothing further to do with eachother and I never saw her again after that. It wasn't until about a decade or 2 ago I found out she was murdered, and had 3 daughters.

But to describe her in an easy and simple way, imagine a woman who had Ellen's kindness and compassion, Veera's ferocity and loyalty to her family, and Emily's gift at making things. Does that answer your question?

Vune stands up and points to the next staircase up.

Come along now. More to explore. On a sidenote, would you like to make this your lair Zephyra?

She thinks before replying

I think I want to check out Solberg's lair on the Sev island before deciding.

She nods as she goes up the stairs

Both are good choices. Whichever one you don't pick, can be saved for the next member of our family.

Brian and Carl take some fruit and go up the stairs along with Zephyra.

The third level, has a large variety of books, and paintings along the wall. Near the center is an inky black pool. In one corner there are several cages -some have dead animals in it. One has a dead giant-they appear to have starved to death. Vune points to them and shakes her head.

I think after my sister died, there was no one to feed them anymore-so they slowly starved. I think, based on some of her notes she had In here, she was working on a project involving animals and giants. My guess is trying to find a way to make giant animals. Either that or make giant's have animal features. Not sure which. As for that pool, I think its either a rejuvenation pool that's gone bad, or a disposal pool. Either way, don't touch it, you may die.

She goes around checking some notes and books, before going to the next staircase, and begins undoing some barriers. She calls back

Give me a minute to open up the 4th floor, she added a pretty interesting barrier system to guard it. Check out the art and books while you wait.

Zeph looks at the books, while Brian examnies the art-a lot of it depicts angels and demons, heavenly sceneary and hellish scenery, along with some scenery of dark, void like lands with horrifying shadows.
