The cutter returns back to Jack, with most of the men slaughtered and the rest missing various body parts. One of them hands Jack a note, before coughing up a large glob of blood and bile onto him and dropping dead. The note, Jack notices is signed with blood. It reads:

"Dear Jack,
I have absolutely no desire to keep that wretched port, nor do I have any desire in giving you what you want. Besides, you in your foolish drunken action have just given me what I wanted. My father is dead- I am now king, and I didn't even have to do any of the dirty work myself. When his doctors said he could live another 30 years I was rather upset, and I was just about to begin planning his accident when you do it for me. And upon seeing just how dangerous our port colonies can be, I have decided to sell the remaining ones in auctions and stay deep inland with my armies nearby. Though I suppose I should give you some sort of payment for getting rid of the old fart. So this note contains 2 shiny new gold coins-The brand new mint of coin for my Kingdom that will be used just about everywhere from now on. I decided on 2 coins since I heard that was your mother's rates at the local brothel, so it seemed fitting.

Signed- Your Superior Ruler, The Great King Kitani."

At the bottom of the note is 2 gold coins-Freshly made and in the image of the new King on the front, and on the back the image of a woman's intimate parts, with the text Jack's Mom 2 Coins A Night.

Meanwhile, back in the port, Ellen has rounded up all the local guards who survived, and gathers them together along with most of the locals. She begins instructing them along with her crew and both commoners and nobles alike to start fixing things up. She has them make a new cemetery near the fort, and prepare graves for all the locals who died. She names the new cemetery St. June's. Those who were from elsewhere have their bodies put into a holding place until people send for the them to be buried in their hometown, and if unclaimed will be put into St. Junes. She has several of the badly damaged mansions completely torn down for materials for rebuilding and repairing the town. She gathers up plenty of food and water, and begins rationing them out. She has all of the local children spend the day fishing nearby, and she made sure they didn't see the state of the town when they left. By the time the day is over, the city is free of corpses-all of them buried or put into the morgue, and much of the rubble cleaned up. Ellen wipes her brow and sighs.

"Well things look a thousand times better. Should be fixed up by the end of the week."

She gazes as she watches the children come back showing off all the fish they caught. So many orphans were made yesterday she thinks sadly. Panselo orphanage is going to have to be doubled in size to accommodate them all unless they have family in other ports. Hopefully she will get letters from worried relatives asking for them. Until then the children will need to share beds until they get picked up or the expansion is finished by the end of the week.

You will probably find this a bit funny. I actually need to attack that blockade. Is my fleet nearby, and can you get me to it?.

Shadowood informs Will that hes was waiting to meet him a the cafe in the fishing village, but word of the exposed man of wars was to much for him to resist. Your Armada is sitting at the ready, not far off the coast just north of here. Sadly i fear there will not be much blockade left to attack. We sunk many of the smaller ships, and a few of the ship of the lines. Many of the ship of the lines were so badly damaged by the fire ships, they will need to be haulled out for repairs. Some of the men serving the blockade desserted stealing 2 sotls and one of the man of wars. Of what remained They carried no gold, the men quickly gave up the ships we took in turn for their lives.

Sounds as if i have missed all the fun.

Jack spits on the letter, crumples it up and burns in in the fire. He then orders his men to raise his flag at the fort. His flag is a skeleton toasting a blood-red cross. He then rights a letter and sends it by cutter.
"Dear king Kitani,
This port which you have given up is now under my control permanently. Let it be known to you that people on this port will always hate you for abandoning them. Let me also remind you that I have been to your ugly country, every inch of it, and have noticed that it's extremely hard to grow things there, so unless you take this port back, you will have a low food supply. Also any nice commodities that you get from here? Gone. This includes sugar, spices, rum, any power you had here. Now, let me also remind you that i have all your nobles. You could put in new magistrates, dukes, and counts and such. But your so damned lazy with these things, so wouldn't be easier to pay ransom to get them back? I advise you to take this place back, or your nobles will be under lock and key. What will their families say? When they have learned there new king doesn't care for them, you could be overthrown.
Signed-Captain jack teach"
P.s. "Kings always at least once in there life will have to travel by boat to somewhere, when you do, if this coin isn't removed, I'll blow you out of the water!"

A cutter once again arrives back, and once again almost all the men have been killed or maimed. One of them hands Jack a note, and says in a pained voice Captain, I know the king is a piece of shite, and you deserve to get to tell him such, but for the love of the lord can we start using messengers who are not a part of our crew and ships that don't belong to us. I get the feelin he will just keep sending us back bloodied and beaten. The man hobbles off along with the fellow messengers towards the fort. Jack reads the letter.

"Dear Jack,
Do you really think I hadn't put any thoughts into new noblemen? Or that you really have ALL our noblemen in that port. Most of them currently there were avid supporters of my father, so removing them makes things easier for me, as I put new nobles into their positions loyal to me. Their families have also been dealt with quite quickly-Their possessions given to the commoners to win my favor with them. And I am not an addled old fool like my father-any business I may have in the ports I can send a bloody scout or messenger on my behalf. I have also struck a deal with neighboring lands for food and luxuries. You are right my land is not good for growing crops-But our land has plenty of mines and excellent smiths. And by the time the mines run dry I will have long since passed. Not to mention I already auctioned all our ports to a neighboring countries. The gold I received from said auctions will be enough to purchase food for the next 100 years. The new owners will also be sending ships and colonists there shortly-You are going to have a lot more fights coming your way if you intend to keep it.

But I will admit I have done your mother a wrong with the coin I made of her. The newly minted one gives her the respect I believe a woman of her class deserves. It now states 3 gold a night instead of 2. She wasn't as ugly as I made her out to be. Close but not quite.
Sincerely your Superior- King Kitani.
PS-also please keep sending more of your crew as messengers. My guards are quite fond of butchering them."

Meanwhile during this exchange, Ellen along with the locals have finished restoring the port and have even began improving it. All the local businesses are repaired and open to the public along with a few new ones, All the corpses have been buried or sent off to their families, The roads are finally completely clean of blood and a new stone road has been placed over the previous one. The Panselo Orphanage has been nearly tripled in size-The orphanage now looks like a large mansion with a church built into its side. The interior has also been greatly improved and even has a new sizable library full of various books for the orphans and guests to read. All the old furniture has been replaced-the beds are now more plush and comfortable-new cotton blankets, and plenty of new toys for all the recently orphaned children. Some of the orphans have been picked up by distant relatives, but the amount of orphans in Ellen's care has still doubled. The governor's children are among those with no other family to take them in, so they will be residing in Panselo until adulthood. The remaining local guards are now reporting directly to Ellen, as Jack quite thoroughly killed all the commanding officers during the battle and the guards prefer reporting to her over the pompous nobles or the man who killed half of them. Ellen instructs them to just leave the fort and Jacks men alone and stick to rebuilding the port. Ellen sits in her office with Brian and sighs. I really didn't think things would escalate so badly. At least things are looking up for Regis now.

Will has been reunited with his armada. Will sails aboard the inferno. Leading 1/3 of his ships to the port of Regis. The other 2 thirds are at the ready but remain far enough from port not to be sighted. As somewhat expected ths blockade has completely vanished. As ships have been sunk, stolen or desserted. Some of the city is still burning but much of it appears to have already been cleaned up.

Take us to the docks.

the Inferno and its fleet along with another of will fleets approach the harbor. The 50 other fleets remain further out in the bay

Jack orders the re construction and upgrading of the fort. The Pirates put extra cannons in the fort and reinforce the walls, making it stronger. Jack also stations his ships near the harbor including 100 gun ship Invincible. In a few days pirate captains are coming there and resting, making the ships and men there three times bigger than the armada before. Jack sends a message to King via mercinaries.

"Dear King ******
You asked for it!"

Jack has the mercenaries to send in ten fire ship to London harbor, the entirety of ships in the king's harbor are burned.

Ellen visits the fort, and has a quick meeting with Jack. Ellen is wearing a sunday dress, after having led Mass earlier the morning. She looks really tired, annoyed, but also a bit proud of the work that's been done to Regis. She sits down, smiles and says rather quietly. Jack, I heard you sent fire ships to London and sank quite a few of the ships- is that correct? One of Jacks men nearby smiles and says "Yup. Cap'n Jack showed King Kitani whos boss." This response causes Ellens eyes to squeeze tightly, as she rubs her head, before opening her eyes and saying in a deadpan voice. King Kitani is the king of Sweden- King Kinati is the king of England. They get confused on account of the similar names and the fact they are cousins and look so similar. You sent the ships to the wrong port. As if on cue a mercenary comes in with a note, that simply reads- Great going genius, did you even bother to look into which nation I ran before sending an attack? Have fun fighting the English now. Ellen sighs and begins heading back to Panselo-a lot more work needs to be done. On her way out however a man comes in announcing William One-Eye has arrived. Ellen smiles. Oh I wonder how he is doing. I suppose I should stick around to greet him.

Jack walks in to the port and looks angrily everyone. Jack scowls at Ellen and holds up a flag that is clearly a Union Jack. Do you you really think i would have sent ships to the wrong port, this port is an English port, I know this is a damned English port this note Jack holds it up and throws it away. Is a fake, made by the king of England to try and make US think, what we have failed. Fools, all of you. Do you honestly bloody think that I would be so stupid to send fireships to the wrong port, this port is English Jack points to the Union Jack. and so is the note! I know WHO I'm fighting and where! I misspelled the king of England's name? So what? This port was owned by the English, and it is now owned by the Bretheren and I! I called the king of England by the wrong damned name to make him angry! He hated Sweden. The king that used to control this port was an English king, not a Swedish one! Don't you think,Jack says this to Ellen, far more politely this time. that If this port was a swedish, that it would have been flying Swedish colors? And the people here would be swedes? I would think so, but what do I see? I saw when I came here, English colors, Englishman and union jacks everywhere! So, it is YOU who have blundered, not me, not this time. Jack storms of to go to a Catholic mass.
