I must say that I expected the whole procedure to be a lot easier. I could not anticipate as a viewer at last time the amount of preparation and planning that it takes. I am sure other captains are through similar conditions.[/quote]

Don't be spreading that around Skipper. Shadowood will not be able to recruit a new lead group for the 3rd draft.

Naw... there will others who give it a try regardless.
*Stan sets up 5 tots of rum to toast the 5 team leaders in a tough, difficult job of first, having to choose who will be best to accomplish the mission/style in their perception of a well rounded team.

Of course, when you finally set your sights on a final pair after long deliberation and searching, some dickhead steals them on you ! Apparently, last time, I seemed to always pick Kart's choice and SHM kept stealing mine.

No, lol, just kidding. as its all good fun but it is much more challenging that it appears from a spectator's view.

I would have had to call in sick to work, skip classes, just to prepare. Much respect to the 5 Captains and to Shadow for putting it together.

'RUM or CUSTARD?'

Round 6? But we only just did Round 5!... I dunno... not sure I appreciated being worked like a whipped hound.. eh.. Round 7 is done as well? The Kraken are grumpy and much inclined to offer Cold Custard Baths to all, but first bringing in Bert 'Hull-Crusher' Kraken to sink all your ships while the massed Kraken Choir sing a jolly song about death, destruction and drowned sailors, all to the infectious samba beat of Judge Kraken and his Funky Parliament of Song.

Well, let's have a look at the suspects... Lockreed, Diogenes, Mohammed, Pulpop and Meliva : worthy enough but who amongst them gets the pulses racing, makes ones hackles rise ready for the hunt? The kraken confer, argue, fight, argue some more, beat the younger kraken senseless (it's good for them) and slowly the consensus forms : nothing wrong with more nakkid wimmin cavorting in custard!

So, the Mighty Kraken doth award unto :

MELIVA

... a long refreshing Bath in Coldest Clammiest Custard!

Loving the commentary so far, and this draft is going by surprisingly quick, but its been pretty fun so far. I am honored I was picked.
And thank you Danik, and to the great Krakens for the custard award
and speaking of custard, all this talk of custard is making me want to go out and get some for dessert. :D

'RUM or CUSTARD?'

Round 7 : Lucky for some? Some familiar and interesting names here, many have sent ships and crew to their watery grave, embraced by the tender tentacles of a hungry kraken! I know, some of you think you have sussed out the krakens ways and can guess yet another custardy female will be chosen! But kraken are not that predictable nor judgemental : perhaps a trim male thigh dripping delicious lumps of clammy custard turns a few krakens on : the heart lies where it must!

But the kraken also consider economy, a coin wasted is a coin that cant be spent on rum, women and song so this rounds winner is obvious : the man who put up the purse in the first place! The kraken are so sure he wont want any of it back they aint gonna send any to him!

So, the Mighty Kraken doth award a massive keg of Finest Kind Kraken Rum unto :

MAHA

AND a long refreshing Bath in Coldest Lumpyest Clingyest Custard!

Absolutely. Lockreed is a powerhouse veteran, and should be known by most. I only wonder why he wasn't chosen sooner. As for Maha, he has been instrumental in helping our newer players stay - both by guiding them, and by being active in chat. His high spirits will be valuable in any team!

Maha emptied his keg and immerses himself in the custard.
next to him a large sweet smelling burp plops the surface. Reaching deep into the sticky substance he feels a cold and soft skin gliding by. A playful kraken? A lusty donkey? No, a highly embarrassed Meliva hiding in the nether custard regions, too modest to leave the sticky sweetness while Maha enjoys her virgin keg of kraken's finest.

Captains, take your time for the next round, let me enjoy this bizarre state of enlightenment!
(at least wait till the kraken have finished their pole dancing)

BS, thank you very much for putting me in your dream team (despite my temperament ;) )!

Following intense and distressingly sober negotiations, combined with the generous financial support of Maha, the Kraken have agreed to bless us all with their wise, intelligent and unbiased opinions on each round of draft picks : this feature will be called 'Rum or Custard?' :

I knew I didn't have the slightest chance against Maha, but still disappointed... :(
Granny Kraken, Daisy... I knew you were speaking in my favor...thank you very much for that, but :gc: go through, where drill won't.

Btw, as I freshly opened my ''Lovcen'' bank, I will contribute in this event with 10M. Money will be sent to Shadowood account, to dispose as he thinks is appropriate.
Good luck to all! :beer
