I normally wouldnt care if i was the caster or if it was a single levi or such. The compensation was from the cc burns and the levi of my mow 5 times and an attempted 15 or so. Ambushes as well against the fleet also were in effect but that didnt bother me. It was only the excessive destruction of the mow that got my attention.
If it was levied 1 time that would have balanced out the plunder gains from the losses of phoenix. Im not complaining as the problem was fixed but i am just pointing out the reason i seeked a sort of compensation. It wasnt full comp as im still shortened of attributes but that can be fixed through investments and income.

Well, I did want to steal that MOW before Shadowood. Since I didn’t have enough booty masters, I decided it is only fair to compensate you for the damages minus my own losses of course

You are way too nice PHX.

xD, he is pretty nice, but that also factors into why it took him so long to reach a 1,000 battles

piracy in this game will never die, no matter what traders might do. And honestly I don't think most traders would want to eradicate piracy, or at least I don't. Sure getting hit sucks, but its part of the game and keeps it from getting boring, and if I wanted to play a game where I'm safe and nothing can happen to me id play something else.

Since your a trader now how about a little comp for that MoW and two sotls you stole/sunk from me a while back

:) :D

That was awhile ago.. If I did that, I would have to give the same chance to my other MoW victims....

That is actually because I don’t like ship battles. My specialty used to be voodoo wars. In all cases, I feel that conflict stresses me out and I believe that a game should help relax you not stress you out.

There is no way a group of traders is going to end Piracy, Yes there are many strong players in TUDOR but there are so many factors now. They now have the responsibility of watching 36 people in the guild. Being that this is a new guild it is safe to say nearly all of them are active. If pirates are being pirates, TUDOR becomes a main target as they keep growing and presents its self a a viable income source. If TUDOR was to retail in excess like fashion to every hit on them, it is going to cost major investments in the game. Merchants are better off arming fleets, investing in level 10's and making it so pirates need 5 fleet battle fleets to take them down, because in the end it makes pirates also have larger purses and it just carries down the benefits for all. Now if someone is to sit there and constantly annoy them, then they have to be ready to battle as a majority of those players have excellent knowledge of how to play the voodoo slinging game. IMO Tudor is designed as a system of people looking out for the best interest of each other, cleaning voodoo, checking purses and letting everyone know what is going on, I do not view them as "Pirate hunters/enders" as they have too many assets in the guild that would become targets.

Plus no pirate wants to take the guild down, they would be a waste of a income source.

interesting, guess I'm going to have to add that to the list of things that I need to learn about Avonmora pirates.

thank you all for adding to my knowledge of this game, because while it is impossible for someone to learn everything in this game, I will try to learn a bit of everything!
