Carl just taps the priest on the shoulder before speaking.

I think Brian meant the 5 who would fight would be him, me, jack, agnar and mikkel.

Brian nods.

Aye, I actually didn't see you there. But yeah we shouldn't go all out unless we need to.

Brian frowns as he spots Veera coming in, though she doesn't approach the group, but instead goes deeper into the arena where Emily went. Carl just shrugs before saying to Brian.

Maybe Emily invited her too. If she causes trouble, we got her pretty badly outnumbered. For now, I wanna fight in a big fight. And maybe do a few solo fights. Let everyone see the toughest man ever fight.

Carl laughs as he feels hyped to start fighting.

The priest nods. Jack says:

Brian reads the papers a bit more.

Says you can do whatever it takes to win, though it asks to try not to kill-they have staff here to fix almost any injuries, but death is very hard to undo.

A nearby man dressed as a arena worker comes over and nods.

Yes, we have potions, magic users and priests here that can pretty much fix any injury, so you don't need to worry about losing an arm or eye, or crippling an opponent. Would you lot like to participate in the next fight? We have a few options right now. A 5 versus 5 match, a 5 versus beast match, or 5 versus special-which means you will be fighting something that was created by one of the mages-no telling what though. Oh and the killing rule does not apply to beasts or non-humans. In fact its recommended you kill them if possible. Just try not to kill other people-if they look defeated or give up, stop attacking. We have some people who can end a fight if it seems one side has lost but won't give up to help prevent deaths.

The man nods and escorts them to a room deeper in the arena, after a few moments, Jack, Carl, Brian, Agnar and Mikki are led into the arena. On the opposite side are 5 other combatants, 2 men armed with sword and shield, 2 armed with spears and the last wielding 2 cutlasses. Carl whispers he will take a spearman as he raises his fists, while brian takes his mace and shield and says he can handle one of the shield holders and to watch Carl's back. They both take positions as an announcer introduces all of them, and the crowd starts taking bets. Brian notices in a really nice box Emily and the other cloaked figures are sitting, along with some finely dressed noblemen. As the match starts, Carl rushes in straight to a spearman, tackling him faster then he can react and starts pounding his face into the ground, Brian cuts off the man's friends from hitting Carl, blocking them back, while Carl incapacitate the man.

Jack goes for the two cutlass weilders. The first one comes at him swinging his cutlass wildly, jack skillfully parries a wild thrust, pulling the man's arm in and stabbing him through the shoulder blades, blood spills out onto Jack's white shirt, it shines bright red. The pain howls in pain, jack wrenches the sword from the man's shoulder, blood squirting onto Jack's face. The man crumples to the ground:.

There's only one cutlass wielder Jack-he just is using 2 at once. the other 4 are 2 spearmen and 2 sword and shield men. And at the moment, one spearmen is on the ground with Carl atop him.
