Emily takes the pouch graciously. Thank you sir. She turns back to Jack "Ellen went into quite a lot of detail about it. She was alone in that house for about 12 hours until the priests arrived the next morning. Her rosary helped keep her safe, well until she used it on the demon to try to banish it. Didn't work apparently, but it weakened the damn thing enough that the other priests could finish it off. She was rather surprised it didn't work. She had done a few exorcisms before and that almost always worked instantly. Demon was way stronger then she figured apparently.
The bartender Burt, takes out 3 actually clean mugs and fills them with a very strange yet sweet smelling rum. He gives one to Jack, Harold and Harlock. He grunts and says Friends of Ellen can get a treat. My special mushroom rum. Nothing like it anywhere else. And you get one due to the fact sahqon started a fight here once, despite the rules so I am happy he died. Harold actually smiles very broadly. Oh I haven't had your mushroom rum in over 5 years. Best rum in the seas. He begins sipping very slowly, savoring every drop.

Harlock looks at the substance in the bottle. What's the secret of this rum? What mushroom was used for this? Harlock takes a sip and is delighted by the taste and fumes mixing together.

And about Sahqon...he was my brother. Corruption got to him after he found that artifact. It's like it possessed him to the point of no return. I couldn't destroy it, as it broke every hammer and stone that touched it. I took the blade and cast it to the seas around Kanoni deep into the seas. I never want anyone to see that blade again, as I know the pain it causes. Harlock stares into the glass like he was reliving the battle, and a tear dropped from the scarred eye.

Jack takes the rum and drinks it. Jack smiles approvingly. This is good rum, some of the best I have ever had. Jack turns to harlock. I seem to remember saqhon would switch names between Harlock and Saqhon a lot, I also remember him claiming that Harlock was dead. So I wonder, sir, are saqhon and harlock are the same person, mainly that person being you?

Burt grunts at Harlock. If I told you that, id have to kill you afterwards. Family recipe that me granddad made. He nods to Harold. He was actually the first person who bought a mug of it.Harold smiles broadly as he closes his eyes. Aye I remember it well. Was 80 years ago, when your father made that first cask. I damn well nearly drank the whole of it. After that they only serve it for special reasons. Since if they served it to anyone at anytime no one would buy anything else.

Harlock turns to Jack. We were twins. We have a lot in common. We grew up together. Oftentimes, he took my name to throw me in the gutter. Now that he is dead, I don't need to worry about that.

Harlock laughs. I won't ask about your secret. Its good enough to know it was made by a magician.

A young man enters, armored in steel plates and wearing a wolf head helmet, he walks to the counter and places a few coins
Pass me a drink, any type would do

Burt pours him a mug of the Mushroom ale-The cask it comes out of labelled Mushrum. Figures might as well serve a cask for the day. Emily notices a few men peering in from the windows examining the men at the bar. They leave after a minute of watching. Emily walks back over to the group. Be careful on your way out. Think some mercs are planning an ambush outside in a bit. They have been known to jump people leaving the tavern considering almost everyone who has a bounty drinks here. Emily then thinks for a moment before turning to Harlock. Did you think to take the blade to a priest to see if they could destroy it or at least purify it? The thing about items with powerful curses on them-they have a bad habit of always finding their way back into someone's hands. And this often leads them back to the poor bloke who tried to hide them away in the first place.

The man’s icy blue eyes look at the beer through his helmet, with a expression of curiosity, he takes a sip
Thanks man, things have stressed lately....

Jack looks outside the windows and their are indeed mercs outside. I'll be ready for them, they are probably here for me, as I'm a member of the Bretheren.

Turns to Emily. I did. The priest's eyes bled out of their skull...that's all I'll say about it...its rather disturbing.

The thing is, Emily, is that me and Sahqon used to be treasure hunters. We found this in a stone sarcophagus. We had to blow it up with a cannon to see what was inside. The shell broke in half on the impact of the blade. Tis how we knew the blade was dangerous. IT wasn't immediate to the curse, but his lust for the blade grew unfathomably.
