My example is a very simple one too, but there sure exist some pretty complex ones. Allow me to show my example of why no number is greater than 2:

Let's call the number of numbers between 0 and 1 for A. The number of numbers between 1 and 2 is B. The number of numbers higher than 1 is C. Now: For every number X above 1 there exists one number between 0 and 1 - just take the 1 and divide by X: If X is above 1, you get a number between 0 and 1. Thus, A=C. However, for each number X between 1 and 2, there also exists one number between 0 and 1 - simply take the number X-1. So A=C, and A=B, which means B=C. Since C=B, then there is an equal number of numbers above 1 as there is between 1 and 2, thus the number of numbers above 2 is C-B=0.
