The priest knocked them all out. They can't talk.

Edit: blessings like that aren't really undo able, they are permanent.

The rage and adrenaline inside them kept some of them from being knocked out. And those who were knocked out were woke up by the ones who stayed conscious. and if the shockwave knocked people all the way to the fort out, then it should knock out all the crew and Jack out also. Not to mention if they were all knocked out, magic will just flow into them to wake them back up.

Also I won't allow anything to be permanent-not magic nor blessings. That's overpowered and would honestly make things less interesting. I mean whats to stop the pastor from just doing that blessing at every port and keeping everything safe forever. Why doesn't he do that blessing in every port if its permanent and he can do it with no consequences? Or whats to stop Rhena or Veera from using a curse to turn all crops to dust forever? Or to unleash a curse that makes all women infertile so no new children will ever be born? Anything that is done, must be able to be undone.

its a holy power, its selective. It only knocks down what it needs to. And you never specified that this specter stops everyone from being knocked out for several hours.

Fair enough. But it isn't the specter who would wake them back up but rather Rhena. She didn't really pay any attention to the group at first, but after ending 2 of her attacks she's started paying attention to them, and is now willing to use some magic to try to stop or slow them down-such as freeing the mob from the ice with heat, or waking them up if they get knocked out.

Jack spits in the ground.

Let's go to caves.

Brian nods though he advises Jack to leave some men back to guard the ships. He quickly sends a message to Carl by bird about what's happening, and to dock the ship several miles from port. He takes his mace and shield and begins heading toward the caves. Vune waves them bye as she takes a seat back down in the tavern and looks to the rest of the mages guild.

Okay guys. Rhena is starting to pay attention to them. We need to be extra careful from here on out. Veera, you and Dow go and wait in Aiora. Ton and Ell, go and wait in Baramas. Sal, you wait in Prote. Ill be here until Emily and Ellen are free.

The guild all nod and teleport away. Vune just takes a look toward the caves and waits.

Jack looks at Brian incredulously

Mate, my ship is gone. And I don't think yours needs to be guarded.

Brian just replies back.

There's Agnar and his men's ship too, not to mention some of the local ships-which we may need one to get all of your men out of this port. We all need to leave this place as soon as possible-if we come back to find no ships at all, because the locals burned all of them so we can't escape, then we are stuck here until we either build a new one, or someone sails here. And my cutter might be safe where Carl hides it, but you and I both know it won't be big enough to get all of your men back to Valorim. But if you want to leave the docks unguarded that's fine by me. I trust Carl to hide my cutter in a safe location, so when we need to leave we can.

Jack sends some men to guard the docks.

Listen here lads, do not let the locals burn down any of the ships. If they try to, you have my permission to kill them. Unless they are burning a ship for some innocent purpose.

Agnar frowns

Burning a ship. Innocent purpose. Same sentence? Oh well. Alright Mikkel, for once, I don't want you with us. Go back and guard the ship as well... It might be of more importance than helping the port.
