you had him give a huge sack of coin to Aloeth after she stated she went back to her own ship-so he had to either be on that ship with her, or nearby to do so-meaning he wasn't in Vune's presence anymore.

The next morning as it nears midday, off in the distance, the Dag fleet is seen. They seem to be using mostly 4th rates, with a few 3rds, along with one really large intimidating 1st rate MoW with a horned flag. Everyone is signaled to prepare for battle. Vune and her family stand on their MoW, as Vune shouts to them

Zephyra, you command the Typhoon and use it to battle the enemy flagship, the rest of us will go ashore.

Vune, Emily and Veera all wait on Emily's vessel as the 2 fleets move toward eachother ready for battle. Emily's ship slowly sinks beneath the waves as they continue onward underwater, sending a message to the other captains that they will await them on the island, and to try to reach it soon. Zephyra shouts her commands and her cannons are loaded.

Flint summons a black portal an walks through it sending him to the banks of land with his ship vanishing

Flint pulls out his scythe from the abyss and his double barrel silver 50 pistol that reloads on its own in the other

the guns are run out to the beating of drums as the fleet forms into a battle line. James stands on the quarterdeck of the dismas surveying the enemy.

Leoric observes the enemy fleet, before turning to his officers

Attack its weaker flanks, form a battle line to ensure our forces can land on the beaches, and keep a cutter in front, I am sure that a magical surprise would be very unpleasant.

The enemy fleet moves forward, and shots begin to be exchanged, Carl has his fleet create a path for the land forces to break past the enemy fleet, as his ships exchange blows with the Dags. On the shores of the island, Flint is blasted by a large flurry of cannon and musket fire as the Dag launch a land assault on him. The dag ships being mostly inferior are barely able to hold their own, and a path is made rather easily as Carl manages to land ashore, along with several of his best men. He watches in amusement as most of the land forces are focused on Flint, and are ignoring him. He waits for the rest of the group to arrive and for the witches to lead the charge, while preparing for the coming battle.

Flint has several bullet wounds but they instantly heal and he starts to fight the dag decapitating them one by one moving like water but also using his pistol to shoot those taking aim at him, untill he notices that the forces arnt letting up he summons a small army of 100 indentured souls to fight by his side

[Aloeth Bowstringer]

Aloeth and her men await their ship to get close enough to launch a longboat for land. As her men row as a single unit, she draws forth the new black bow and sets the string to humming, aiming at any archer or gunner first before picking off the ones waiting for folks to land. Her quiver replaces the arrows shortly after they are shot, leaving holes in the men as the arrows vanish from their bodies and reappear in her quiver. Occasionally, she flings off the excess blood and the rare bit of flesh from the arrows before she shoots them again.

She trusts her men to get where they need to go and doesn't bother telling them each detail of what to do. Shortly after Carl makes landfall, Aloeth's longboat hisses on the sand. The longboat doesn't even finish stopping before it is vacated by all the passengers. The men make a semicircle around her, weapons drawn and eyes darting. She heads over to Carl, casually flinging off blood from her next arrow before notching it.

It be lookin' like we're here. Other'n Flint and the ladies, we missin' anyone?

She then looses the arrow, letting it sail past the main host of Dag to land in the gullet of one taking aim at Flint a few paces away from him.

Smoke fills the air as the superior ships unleash destruction on the dag ships, sending spars,rigging, and men flying. The poorly made craft barely stand a chance. Rowboats are sent out and jack reaches shore with a good amount of men

Leoric’s warships attack from the side, blasting any ships that get close, after reaching shore they form a battle line, providing covering fire as several other galleons land troops on the shore

Every time Flints scythe takes another life, another soul is added to the list that serves him but he does not bother using them at the moment
as he is enjoying himself in battle but he turns to Aloeth an yells
