The priest stands at the stern praying. Jack begins to seethe.

Okay how the hell did they disappear when the way by sea is blocked, by land is blocked and voodoo magic doesn't work in the port.

Well, first, the crows are smart enough to have more than one hideout, and the party that tried to kill the governor was never from this port

more then one hideout makes sense, what I want to know is how they disappeared. Like I said there were fleets blocking the exit by sea, several soldier battalions by land, and since voodoo magic is still nullified for a few more days they couldn't magic outta there. They still should be in that port with no where to run and have to try to fight their way out.

Well, the port is big, and it also includes the wilderness part(Is it a town, just asking), a walk could be done, and the fighting is still on

How can the fighting still be on if you said they disappeared? though I see you removed that part, as for escaping through wilderness that isn't exactly easy to do for a large force, and a large town doesn't help much in escaping if you burn most the buildings down. And its not like we left the port defenseless, we came with a few ships and guards, so it would take a large force to beat the port as fast as they did, and that kind of army wouldn't be able to sneak away.

I either looked at the wrong book, or you are wrong, since it said that Tortuga(I used it as an example) has a garrison of 150 when the french tried to take it, and a battalion is much more that 150
Ignoring that, no, they haven't disappeared yet
