Emily looks rather excited.

Now I gotta check this out. Those runes sound interesting. Dow, can you make me invisible so i won't be seen by the assassin or Agnar?

Dow nods, and casts the spell. Emily then immediately teleports near agnar and simply watches in silence. Brian looks a tad nervous before speaking.

I don't know what his runes might do if we are nearby. We are not like Emily we can die. And I'm rather happy being alive.

Mikkel shrugs

Agnar may be expert without the runes, but with... I tell you, he's more one man army than he already is... And one or two of the runes may or may not hurt the spectators...

Dow shrugs

Eh, Emily's a lich. She can't feel pain or die. Though I think I will stay here and just listen to her story when she gets back. I can die and like Brian I rather enjoy living.

Jack looks around wearily. He draws his sword.

Gregory looks a Vune and thinks to himself. "Veera runs her mouth too much."

Heard there was a 3M gold coin bounty out. Had to check it out and make sure things on my end checked out. You know how those government officials like to get overzealous with money that isn't theirs.

What are you doing here? When did you and Veera turn a new leaf?

Mikkel grins

Gotcha.

Agnar unsheathe his sword, and all the runes start emitting a representative colour of light. So does a few in his armour, and a amulet on his wrist

Come here, Princess.

The assassin got a long dagger in her belt, easy to reach. In the left hand she has some throwing knifes she throws at Agnar, who somehow blasts them to all sides

Face to face, Princess.

from where the group is standing the runes glow can be seen reflecting on some of the rooftops

Vune just chuckles.

I havn't turned over a new leaf at all. I have simply done what I always have done for most of my life. Run the mages guild and try to keep lesser mages in line-that hasn't changed. As for Veera, she's still an evil vindictive mage, but the benefits of being in our little guild are too good for her to just leave it and go wild-and if she did, well I would have an issue with that. So she has to restrain her sadistic nature. Even so, Veera is always doing one thing or another and so I have to keep an eye on her. She used to try to hide what she did, but when she learned that I would always find out she gave up. Honestly, I knew about that plague long before she told me. I'm the one who taught her magic in the first place, so it isn't hard to find out when she's done something. Say, did you know that your one of the few people I have on my personal watch list? That's another reason I learned about the plague so fast. But you know, I have to ask, what exactly is it your trying to do? I doubt you will tell me, or at least tell me the truth. But I might as well ask.

Emily just watches the runes as she takes mental notes, and starts to memorize them. She giggles softly in her head, about how proud Vune will be of her for gaining this knowledge.

As the assassin continued to throw knives at Agnar - who keeps blocking, shattering, bursting or melt them away with his runes, she's getting the idea that's not the ideal approach, but it's too late to run

Come here, lady

She launches at Agnar who keeps parring her hits

You sure you want to be this close?

An energy wave emits from the sword, blasting the assassin a few meters backwards

Give up. You'll fall to this hand tonight.

Jack looks to the flashes

Come on, just stab her already.

Gregory chuckles slightly with a mischievous grin

So you have been watching me? See anything you like?

Greg all but laughs, before turning more serious.

Before I answer your question, why am I on your personal watchlist?
