BTW, you never asked me how i came up with my list(s). I made ye ol excel sheet of yor, and plugged in everyones influence, rank, time in game, bank levels, awards, battles, wins, losses, skirmishes, plantations and ships plundered. I assigned numerical values to each category looking for the top (tangibly) ranked people in the categories i was looking for in my blurb.

I then had 3 people selected in order for each category.

And luckily for me, with emotion removed, i got nearly everyone i ranked as top 1.

And that my friend, is why i have focused so much on current activity... had i focused on contributions to the game as a whole, it would have throw off my figures

No if your team drops out its a three team draft and should be adjusted accordingly.. But it seems a bit silly to take your ball and go home. Stay in and try to have a good time...

Not fully reading but from what I managed to see there is accusation of bribe for the votes and it was denied but then it raise different question. If there were no bribe involved how come that Captain of team knew which rookie was casted on by his teammate. Call me old,senile and crazy but something is not right

There, i cleared all voodoo casted on him. Lets try and remember that sometimes people act in game because there are things going on out of game.

Dman, i like you, as a matter of fact i was sad that all the negative posts started cause i wanted to pick you, but you dont always know what is going on behind the scenes. Not everyone thinks like you, i simply was trying to make a fire barrier before things got worse. Nothing more.

Sometimes people play with emotions and sometimes people play to play, clock is on emotions right now, and its not good for anyone...

you have missed the point of what you call negative posts the very first post of the draft without the 5th captain was imo negative and it played a crucial role to this failure of a draft
and until it is in control of the community i will not be on any draft i voiced those thoughts at the end of the last draft
you wanted jokes and fun at the communities expense hard to get behind that one
as for death well there are plenty of people here who have suffered the loss of family or friends and even pets
i could give you a list of about 5 that affected me while playing here but i promise it didnt affect you
forums is not really the place for that thats what the inboxes of those you bond with are for if they want to help carry the burden

It doesn't matter if a player accepted the bribe. The steps were taken to offer a bribe to a new player who knew nothing about the draft to vote for a particular team. There was no effort to portray the bribe as a joke even after the offer was rejected, which brings forth sufficient evidence of intent that the one offering the bribe was serious. Based on the intent it can be assume that if the player accepted, those perpetrating the bribe would have followed through with payment. Then there was the fact of covering it up.

So no, the player not accepting the bribe doesn't mean the bribe was awash. A bribe was made but was not accepted.

I do have to say one thing positive though. The player that rejected the offer is got a solid head on their shoulders. Much respect to them.

<<Takes Deep Breath>> There were accusations of a team member offering to pay for votes, and insinuations i was in on something as well to which i had no knowledge.

Witty banter on my part of coarse, ANGRY!!! by others, witty by me.. ANGRY by others, i got threatened in a message, in that same chain another message was shared with me with the name of a player, i made joke about fabrication (cause i like jokes)... fast forward, clock lost his grandpa today and is a bit self destructive right now, started casting on people (i think he may be passed out now)

Feniks posted a screen shot with name of said player, i removed the voodoo and asked all to get some perspective <<DEEEEPPPP BREEAATTTHHH>>
Feniks thinks this draft sucks, i said maybe it was that attitude that lost him votes but that both teams are fantastic, he got mad and wanted to be removed from draft <<voice getting higher and winded>>, instead opted to remove all his posts and not speak in forums meanwhile life moves and <<voice really high now>> im going to make an offer to all rookies to bring back the spirit of the draft......ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

P.S. a direct quote from the thread instructions "Feel free to post any comments, smack, or support for your favorite team at the end of this thread." Arent we supposed to make jokes and have fun here? Did i read that wrong?

Yep... direction of smack matters : some may dish it out but it remains toxic behaviour if you send any at them... lese majeste... it's kinda obvious what we have here but, of course.. some voices speak louder than others because, well, being awesome does that.. not their fault at all.

This draft lost all the charm and things at the moment when your teammate offered bribe and no ammount of witty and funny comments can return spirit of it. I am in favor of scraping this draft because from something interessting and funny it became thing who can pay more it who can bully other for votes. I sign up with Feniks and I'd like to be removed from the draft aswell
