Yeah, it's interesting to see how these experienced players consider other good players.

I still wonder how much of it is honest evaluations and how much is deliberate disinformation, though! :-)

Haron, I confess, I have not been telling the truth about the people in my recent picks making a lot of gold. They know how to make a whole lot of gold. lol

I would consider the idea of more than one choice with the choices getting different amounts of points. I believe someone has already suggested this type of an idea. Understand, this will probably wind up being a popularity contest though. People will probably vote for their friends instead of voting for the team they think is really the best. Anyway that it turns out, it has been fun. I congratulate Shadowood on a great idea and executing it well.

its interesting to think about the value of each team, they are strong in different ways,

these are my opinions on the teams - However I have not yet decided who is the strongest team.
I will wait till the draft completes and look at them in a more serious way.
I certain everyone will have their own thoughts, since everyone see value in different ways.

some teams have more balanced strength and others a more likely to be strong in a particular direction.

this is my view of the teams as of the moment - this is a fun analysis, not a careful evaluation

stans team is the most likely to have taken everything everyone owns by the time you finish reading this message.

karts team is the most likely to implement execute something very complicated that will be extremely profitable

SHM and Pheonix's teams are balanced and strong, probably huge long term growth teams. I would be very worried about attacking either team.

Vanes team is the most likely to wipe you out when you take a break for lunch a few months after you have offended them.

I will personally be voting for the team I think is the strongest. not the team that I like the most people on.

Now that the teams are getting towards the end of the 10 player roster, I am starting to look at the team dynamics and how the players could work together. It seems like something that the captains of the teams have been thinking about when picking along with the best player to pick for them, though I am looking at the rosters differently than when there were only 3-4 players. The cohesiveness and connection between players is now relevant I feel. For instance, I know that some players work together to make things happen and that the combined power is greater than what they could do alone. In looking at what team is likely to be the best team, that is something that I am feeling is becoming very relevant and may be something that the captains want to take into consideration for their last 2-3 picks. It will definitely play into who I think composed the best of the 5 teams.

I agree Slindur. Internal dynamics plays a major part in any teams ability to compete. A recent example would be the USA war.
From what I have been able to deduce, and there is a large chance I am wrong,

USA became hamstrung from internal politics and could not pull together as a team to defend their holdings.
This enabled a small group of warriors to rip it apart despite the combined power of the nation.
Those who were dissatisfied with the way the nation was being administered just stepped back and let the chips fall where they lay resulting in a half hearted attempt of defence and counterattacks by the administration.

Absolute and raw power is wasted if there is no team effort as the most powerful of players can be trounced without support of their teammates.

Aye the USA fell because of 1 player falling off the top so rew couldn't veto the votes to withdraw gold and we didint have enough active power because as soon as that player fell we lost a bunch of active members because there wasn't enough gold circulateing in the USA economy and the gold we did have stored had been withdrawn and hidden in a bank of a now fallen player who can no longer access that gold

How could you do this to me Sir Henry? I thought for sure I could get Dejanira on my next round. Great choice.

I am going to need to get devious on this now. lol

I know I still have pick number 9 to go, but pick number 10 may be a surprise to everyone.
