Brian nods as he and Carl help clear a path to the pool. Brian shouts to Agnar.

Hit the pool with everything you got.

The 2 men jump back and begin helping to clear out the slimes behind them.

Jack begins to cut down more slimes

Agnar lowers the tip of his sword to the pool, as the black fire intensifies. A terrible smell spreads in the cavern, and the surface of the pool turns purple with black spots, before it starts to vanish

The pool quivers and shakes as it burns, until its all gone. In the now empty pool lies a very large slime, which slowly begins to melt away, spitting out a few final slimes as it dies. After some more time fighting the last of the slimes are finished. Brian sighs in relief as he begins heading out the cave. He calls to Jack.

So, where to now? From what we learned there's going to be attacks on all the ports, should we head to the next closest port Regis, or head to Thorokas to see how Emily is doing? I'm fine with either.

Agnar goes to Mikkel

Gather the men, I want to know about eventual loss of members and the amount of injured there is.

Jack looks around.

Regis. We'll do divine service on the way.

Brian and Carl nod, they quickly go back to port, and inform the locals the slimes are no more. Despite the good news there is little cheering-the damage done to the port, and its citizens was catastrophic, and they have a lot of things to rebuild. The group begins to sail to Regis. Brian writes a letter to Emily to ask her things are going. A while later a message comes back replying good for me, the port-not so much. Brian decides after Regis is saved he should get Jack to go to Thorokas.

jack's vessel sails out of the port towards thorakas. But it stops after a bit and the priest peforms divine service, he had managed to give last rites to the most of the men as they died, as they died rather slowly. The men remove their hats and the priest begins divine service. After the priest finishes, the men are tossed into the sea, where they will remain until judgement day. They then begin sailing again, but two sails are spotted, one frigate and a brig sailing towards them with all speed, flying the flag of st kitts Nevis.

Brian and Carl look to each other, before Brian calls to Jack from his cutter.
