What about clergy? They surely wouldn't need a pass to enter the noble area.

Oggie shakes his head.

From what I hear, the nobles decided they would take the higher ups in the local clergy, and position them in the noble district as guests. That way, the poor and rich each have their own assigned clergymen. Any local clergy in the commoner district can only enter the nobles if invited for a reason and have a pass. I do think that there are a few nobles who are part of the cult. Like the man we are going after tonight for example. But until we get him to talk its just speculation. For now I suggest we get some guard uniforms and trust in that Carl fellow. If nothing else, I can cause a large distraction if all else fails.

Those bloody masks are not going to hide anything, anybody who see's those masks is going to realize the ploy. And I thought churches put their bishops or priests wherever they like, it's not like they have no power. From what I hear, the nobles don't usually control where clergy are, I could be wrong.

Gregory begins to grow weary that precious time is being wasted.

Let's not argue over this. The more time we waste debating which is the better method, the more likely we miss an opportunity. If we can't come to an agreement, I'm going to rally my men from my ship and play my favorite game.

Oggie shakes his head.

A few promises of very large donations to the church, and some bishops and clerics are willing to do many a thing. Sad as it may be, being a man or woman of the faith doesn't exempt one from corruption and bribery. And That man's plan will probably work. The local guard have been given special masks to help keep them safe from the plague-can't recognize anyone wearing one. And if the nobles hear that a prominent figure is coming with some guards, even if they are suspicious they wouldn't want to risk angering an important figure. Besides we ain't got nothing better planned, so its worth a shot. You should hurry to the fort. Its far more dangerous travelling at night, and we are burning daylight. You lot should just grab some uniforms, and go with whatever Carl is planning. If that doesn't pan out, go with a back up plan.

Fine, but we NEED a back up plan in case something goes wrong. Also, I hate to say it but carl is crazy and most likely not very intelligent, he even admitted it himself. This probably isn't the best idea.
