Jack looks at the swedes and then does a double take.

Mates, look to the sea!

Jack points to just beyond the harbor, where several large Swedish ships sail forward, each caries 40 guns

The English fleets and the fort fires a heavy bombardment upon the Swedish vessels, with the Swedes returning fire, both sides take heavy damage, meanwhile the Swedish army is being bombarded with more mortar fire, and is attempting to retreat into the city only to be blocked by both the local militia and English soldiers, who quickly begin gunning them down before they can reach the city, the Swedish army is almost wiped out, what few remain quickly rush into a nearby cave, hoping reinforcements come soon, as they are low on men, ammo and gunpowder.

The cave was a good place to defend, and the Swedish managed to hold their position, but not for long, will they hold the cave or will it fall?

Jack reaches into his coat pocket and pulls out a small bottle, he drinks it. Suddenly, his eyes become crazed and he smiles with a crazed grin. He pulls out his cutlass slowly, listening to the sounds of leather on steel. He looks to the men, still grinning.

Lets take em boys.

Jack rushes forward, screaming at the top of his lungs, waving his cutlass. He throws himself at the guard, swinging left and right, hitting with vicious and bloody effectiveness.

James and his men form a line, and being marching forward slowly, while firing at the enemy soldiers, taking cover when possible. The 2 of the battalions station themselves around the mansion, while the other 2 go near the cave. They decide the Swedes can stay and keep the cave, and begin firing mortar shots above it, causing a cave in and sealing the men in the cave. Then they set up a perimeter and aim their mortars towards the city, prepared to instantly bombard anyone foolish enough to leave the city and head towards the mansion. The remaining local militia and the English sailors retreat away from Jack and James men back into their ships and help fire against the Swedish ships. The sea battle is nearly over, with the last remaining Swedish ship being sunk. The English fleet took some damage but they now are now forming a blockade. James looks to Jack.

This isn't good Jack. We can't leave the city by land due to mortars, and if we go by sea the blockade will kill us. We should probably start thinking of a new plan.

Morgan keeps walking twoards mansion with his hand on the grip. On his way to governor mansion guard aims at him. While second guard hides behinde the wall to provide backup if needed.

"HOLD IT, let me see your hands in the air!" says the guard

Morgan grins and keeps walking. Guard holds his gun and repeat same thing. Morgan stares at him walking slowly and saying.

Listen mate, I know you are doing your job but I don't like when someone points dangerouse thing twords me. I am comming in peace and your Governor expects me. Go ahead and send that guard whom is lurking behinde the wall. While saying that Morgans left eye has changed into the snake eye.

I am Morgan that should be enough and like I said I am comming in peace so it is in your best intresst to lower that thing because now that you've drawn your gun, are you willing to use it? Guns aren't for threats they're for actions. Are you willing to risk your life?

Jack is still fighting.

Who says anything about escape?

Jack continues to fight like a demon, a couple of the more cowardly guards run away.

Just ignore it.

Jack, in my last post I stated that the remaining guards and such in the city retreated from you and James already, back into their ships to help fight the Swedish fleet. Hence why James said its time to think of a plan since the local fighting was over.

The guard returns from talking to the governor and tells Morgan he may see the governor and he turns to lead him to the meeting room in the mansion. Ellen decides to just go back to the inn and help guard the duke with her sister. She returns to her sister's room while she is busy reading some books with the Duke sitting by himself in the corner. She turns to Ellen.

Hey sis, I noticed all the local fighting and all the people getting massacred which gave me a bit of an idea. Still preparing though, gotta make sure I do this EXACTLY right, but when the time comes it will be glorious.

Jack turns to him, he's wiping blood off his cutlass.

We are not leaving. We are still planning things.
